what do they call slot machines . . .
in different parts of the globe.
i know stateside they're slots! but i've also heard other call them pokies, or fruit machines.
i guess the question also means, are these things different?
are we just using different words to describe the same machine, or are the machines as themselves as different as say baseball and cricket, surfing and skateboarding, that kind of similar but not the same deal?
