I don't know if there's really a "best" time where the machines are going to pay out more. I think it's pretty much up to the individual player about where the feel comfortable.

Personally, I don't mind the crowds, but I have a friend who only gambles after midnight. He just doesn't like to be elbow to elbow with people, and he says that it throws his concentration off.

If anybody thinks that slots pay better at a certain time of the day, feel free to express your opinion.
