The main point of this bonus round is to hope for a Opal, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, or Diamond gem to appear on the reels. If one of these gems appear, you then get to pick 1 out of 8 gems. Depending on your total bet, there is a "progressive" gem, meaning the more you bet, the more gems with the progressive prize. But if you play max coins, you automatically win the corresponding progressive when a gem appears.
