It has definately made a change in our habits. We used to love to go up to this one particular casino that has a great buffet and we'd hang out all day and play different games. But it's a 2 and a half hour drive which was hard enough for me, and now if you have to figure what that costs in gas into the overall it just makes more sense to stay on the couch and play online.

Of course that's why all the Brick and Mortar casino companies have suported the online gambling ban - behind the scenes of course. They know if we can't play online then if we want to play we have to go to them.

Harrah's Entertainment Group put over $50,000 into Senator Frist's campaign coffers cause he promised them he'd sponsor the ban. While online gaming stocks were plummeting - the ban more than tripled the price of Harrah's stock. And apparently Frist and his cronies own a bunch of it - so now they are being investigated for insider trading.
