Penn. House Approves Bill
On Tuesday, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives continued their battle with the Senate over a bill intended to strengthen regulation and enforcement of the state's slot machine industry.
A unanimous vote by the House approved changes and sent the bill back to the Senate. This vote kept the bill from going to Gov. Rendell.
This back-and-forth has been going on much of the last year, with one chamber often dropping pet provisions written in by the other.
The legislative session ends on November 30th, and some experts believe that further revisions could delay the bill enough that it would not be passed.
