Default WSOP Champ Wins 2nd Event in a Week

Jeff Madsen, who a week ago became the youngest player to win a World Series of Poker event, reportedly repeated his success at another 3-day no-limit Hold 'Em game. This time around, the 21-year-old Santa Barbara film student scooped a $643,381 cash prize and a second WSOP gold bracelet. This new poker victory makes him the youngest WSOP millionaire.

Although Madsen's final table opponent Erick Lindgren had twice as many chips as his young rival, Lindgren's suited ace and jack could not beat Madsen's pair of queens. In this WSOP event, Madsen outlasted 506 players. Although the World Series of Poker's young champ had to fly home the next day to attend his grandmother's memorial service, he soon returned to Las Vegas to participate in another event.
