If so , do you play at wild horse pass, casino arizona, or lone butte? and what are your thoughts on how loose/tight the machines are? Personally I have noticed a huge change in the last couple years on jackpots and payouts being view and far between.
I have a friend who lives in AZ and she goes to CliffCastle and LOVES it! I guess it is near Sedona. Anyway, she said they have a great selection of games especially pennies! I believe she has had some luck there recently.

It is close to Sedona. We drove down for a evening there, it was a nice little casino, I don't have very good memories of the place, The night we went it was zero fun because the slots were so tight. I guess we must have picked the wrong night!
Yeah, it is a gamble all right! You just never know how the machines will be!

Arizona Here.
Casino Arizona - they have taken more money from me in the last 2 months than the past year, their slots are so tight it's not even funny. decent mix of games, but I will never go there AGAIN to gamble, maybe to pick up my comps.
Fort McDowell - my favorite casino, has alot of 2000-2004 fun konami's machines pay well except the new star trek and HORRIBLE WIZARD OF OZ (I see people pump HUNDREDS with out a cent back). Lots of older Aristocrats, Konamis, some Atronics, and newer IGT's mostly penny and low denom games machines so you can bet max for under 1.50
Wild Horse - has updated alot of the WMS games to include all the new titles, payback is decent and you can hit some fun jackpots. Many aristocrats
Vee Quiva - Has alot of older games especially WMS games, same payback as Wild Horse.
Lone Butte - brand new casino = bad payback (I won't visit that casino until the end of the year) but I hear they have EBAY and a ton of the newer games.

Casino Arizona seems so much worse then it used to be, Lone butt, the older one, used to have nice payouts & paybacks on pennys and nickles. Your money would last nicely. NOt anymore at the new lone butt! Wild horse pass has been much tighter as well in the last couple years, I need to try the Fort, I know you say the Wizard Of OZ is tight, but I would love to play it for the fun of it. looks like a neat game. Its a shame every one of these casinos are rebuilding themselves. except the Fort. I think thats why its impossible to win as much right now. I am curious to know, why are you waiting till the end of the year to go back to lone Butt? will it payout better then??:D

I won't go to Lone Butt (lol) becaue the casino isn't paid off for yet. New Casinos in AZ = BAD payouts.
before you play wizard of OZ, watch someone else play, you will notice......no one wins, and if glinda or a bonus comes up it is small and nothing compared to what you've lost. so watch before you play.
they have the WMS zeus, gusher, neptune, and palace in .01 cent in the far corner with the 5 cent konamis. Most Wanted is my favorite it's the western themed one and it payouts small but often. I also like the Submarine one with the lucky 7's
The fort has the new Bally's multi-games (just like the igt game kings)
The atmosphere is lacking but, i could care less, on a weekday you can get on WHATEVER machine you want (except wizard/trek maybe a 10 minute wait) without waiting.

it's only 13 miles off shea and the 101. so it takes about 10 minutes from the 101, not bad at all.
I live at 59th and Bell, so it's a drive to any casino.
Oh ya, Casino Arizona is going to build a new location at Westgate, apparantly they had some contract with The state that they will sell them the land for the stadium in return for a casino. I've heard it will open as soon as 2010 right by Cabella's

guess I should have added the e to the Butt? haha, I dropped into wild horse to pick up my comps, might as well get something back, I played a new top gun just for a few minutes, got the bonus round, gave me like a 160 nickles back, woo hoo! thats a chumps game to I think:D
