I have not. First off, when I sign up to try a game for free, I get LOTs of offers. However, I do not trust any of the sites at all. But that doesn't mean they are not ligit or bad. I just never felt comfortable using them.
So, would love to hear some experiences of anyone from here who has played online sluts.
Thanks.
Joey
The only website I have played on is bingopalace.com. They have bingo video poker, and slot machines. The machines IMHO suck and the bingo is okay although I don't have the patience to play bingo I have tried it. They were fair with my money and all but online gaming defeats the purpose for me. I like being in the casino!!! I did see a microgaming site that swears they take US players called allslotsonline.com they have some really groovy machine with great titles and gameplay like you would see in the casinos but I cannot play them because the site is not Mac compatible. I already tried because I wanted to play them for free.

Nope. I think it would be as exciting as watching televised fireworks. I need the casino.

I would never feel comfortable playing online either, I don't know if I ever could be convenced that it was totally legit in payouts etc. Also, I love going to the casino, getting outta the house awhile is the nice part of the whole casino experience.

I was always tempted, but I know it's just not a good idea.
Plus I've noticed that some of them have a disclaimer that you can't cash out until - x,y,z
So, that's a HUGE red flag to me.

I totally agree guys! Part of the excitement for me is in going to the casino! I have 4 "local" casinos to choose from. From a 45 minute drive up to a 2.5 hour drive, but that's still close enough and the anticipation is so exciting, plus the time spent with my husband on the drive is really nice!

joeyanyc get ready....I have played over the last 2 years[only free money, none of my own] all slots, golden casino, superior, rushmore,go,cherry red, slots oasis, english harbor, lions, las vegasusa,777,club usa, coca casino, pantasia, mayan paradise 8,aladdins gold,7 sultans, sloto cash, one club, davinci's gold, and [get minted, roxy palace, vip, william hill] until they tossed out usa players..my view. Most of the games are 2nd rate,cheesy..some of the casinos have excellent games, they were all generous in free money[1,000to 2,000 dollars] but its not like the slots you play in vegas or NA casinos.some had a few slots like that but only a few of the casinos..AND THEY WERE TIGHT!!!!!some casinos like english harbour, own other casinos [silver dollar, millionaire]and all have the same games...try them out but use a throwaway e-mail because they will bug you like crazy...

also one more point, use fake address and phone number...If you like the casino,or congress makes it legal for usa players to play you can always change the info
It's illegal for residents of Washington State to gamble online, so I couldn't do it even if I wanted to.
But I don't think it's a good idea to do it anyway, it just seems a little too desperate. Plus, once you load your credit card number into their site, it's just too easy for it to be charged at will for whatever they want. They could say, "By the way, we're introducing a new fee..." and then charge your card for it. And you can end up in serious debt by gambling from your credit card.
Just not a good idea...
OK.. I know everyone is so quick to jump on the online casinos, but please here me out fully.
Why online casinos are pratical:
- For those who are disabled / cannot leave home
- For those who just want to spend an hour or two
- For those who live far away from a REAL casino (Me = 2 hours)
Why online casinos are still fun:
- Deposit bonuses (Depost 50, get 100) can be profitable
- Different games than real casinos
- Random jackpots
- Slot tournaments
- Hundreds of options of slots
- Free money promotions just like a normal casino
Why they are not fun
- Some are not safe
- Playing by yourself
- Missing the button pushing / bells & whistles.
If you are interested in trying online slots, your FIRST stop should be casinomeister.com - an international watchdog that can guide you to SAFE casinos, because there are a bunch of scams.
However, I have deposited before and cashed out with no problem at several casinos - so please don't assume they are all scams!

Hi Kyle:
I really like your thoughtful post.
At your "tender" age, I didn't have online casinos to worry about ... I was too worried about where to park the family station wagon (complete with air matresses and sleeping bags in the back) with a cute date.
The main reason your argument falls apart. is that gambling online is illegal from North America.

Eh, I think that's like Jaywalking. It's a law, but you're not going to get arrested for breaking it. Online Gambling was outlawed because the casinos get their gaming liscence out of the country. Legislature is in the works to undo the laws Bush placed against online gambling
I think within 5 years, you will see a United States based, Vegas-sponsored online casino - with profits in Vegas slipping, They need a way to bring in profit from across the country rather than hoping people can afford trips to the strip!

I have to agree with Kyle on this. There are many reputable online casinos out there. I've played a few online casinos in the past, and I've made a killing in online poker for the past 5 years.

Anyhow, to each his own.

Hi Kyle:
I am somewhat suprised it would be a Federal jurisdiction. I thought, this would be set state by state.
The states do not want to miss out on the revenue.
Unless you know something I don't -- I think online poker (arguably, a game of skill), could make it back -- with some kind of limiting rules ... but I'm not sure about slots.

PS - Personally, I have nothing against online gambling. I'm not sure I would engage in it -- but never say never.

Massachusetts US senator Barney Frank is one of the guys working to change the online laws. Here is July 13 article from Boston Globe:

I've tried many of the free machines from one of the "online" casinos and found that from time to time the reels will just keep spinning and I get an error message stating that I've lost connection!! NO way would I ever risk playing under those conditions. Ironically most of the times I've seen this was during a winning streak!
I agree with others, kind of defeats the purpose. Nothing like being there!

I tried 4 online casinos in the last couple of days, to have an idea. I believe they will never ever catch up with brick and mortar casinos with their current business models. I played with free money that they offered for new customers, so no real money harmed during the process :) Here's my review:
- The games are all the same from the same software developer (in my case I had two Rival casinos, and two RTG casinos, so I experienced only two different sets of slots)
- The slot games were all pretty bad. They were all the same, just with different graphics. Bonus rounds were nothing exciting like the real casinos. I had zero fun, was just trying to see if I can get any money after meeting their wagering requirements. I would never deposit my own money to play these lousy games.
- Terms and conditions are ridiculous. A real casino gives you some sense of confidence that they treat you fairly, and they welcome you as a guest. In online casinos, they treat you as a crook from the get go. One of them had a term that read, if you ever deposit any money, you have to wager it at least once to be able to withdraw! This translates into, you walk into say Venetian with $500 in your pocket, and on the way out, they stop you and check your pockets and send you back to machines to wager that $500. It is just ridiculous.
- Withdrawals are tough, at best, if you can manage to withdraw. Withdrawal options and information are ridiculously limited, while there are tens of deposit options, with every step detailed. They are not honest businesses in my view, as they don't want to play it fair. In any real casino, you can cash in or withdraw your money within minutes, if not seconds. They want to take your money, but, they are fair in the sense that, you can give up and go home (with your money) anytime you want. In online casinos, they have some terms that say it takes 7-10 days to approve a withdrawal, and 7-10 days to process the withdrawal. Hello, this is my money! I got lucky on one of these four casinos (Royal Ace), and I won $50, after meeting the wager requirement for the free money. I’m still trying to figure out a way to withdraw it. They have two options and one of them is not eligible, since the amount is less than $100. The other option requires for them to send me an invitation to join that service (usemywallet), and I haven’t been able to get that so far. Their final option is money gram/western union, for which they charge you $20-30 for fees!
- Support is a major issue. Most of them lie about 7/24 live support as twice, I was asked to call during business hours. Their chat and call center takes forever to respond, and once they do, the answer is insufficient or incomplete. So, you send a follow-up question, which makes them gain another business day.
So, I don't recommend online casinos to anyone as they suck at pretty much every single step of a fun casino experience.

This is the single most reason most people stay away. No one will ever trust their hard-earned cash to questionable online outfits, that are not regulated (as yet) and no one knows where they're all based, under whose jurisdictions they operate , etc etc.
Think of it as Ebay on steroids. Would you buy an expensive Merc off an Ebay motors listing without at least kicking the tires?
