casinos do you think will go bankrupt in the next 1-2yrs? Was reading the CasinoCityTimes news, and a lot of them are having a tough time makin' it. Those that borrowed for building, buying others, ect. are the ones fighting for their life.

The Majestic Star folks took a beating as they attempt to build a new casino in Pittsburgh, Pa.They had to sell one Casino in Las Vegas and closed down another in the South in order to finance this new Casino.Turns out to be a major nightmare for Barton.

I need to answer this one.
It depends on the pay-outs,both quantity and quality. When one closes, another will soon appear.About two to three years from today I would imagine Trump Casinos will fold.Harrahs is fading.
Again I believe if one goes, another will soon pop up.

some might fold then others rise in a better economy. Or maybe with great management some could be the riseing stars, If I were head of a casino, I think I would really drop my take on the machines profits to the casino to bare minimums, winners come back, I would also have the best players benefits possible, we all love that, I would think it would be easy to make it, if managed right, atleast for the smaller casinos, and Indian casinos. The huge vegas casinos have so much overhead, and possibly debt that I am almost sure some are going down soon. I just hope they don't ask for a bailout! I know regular vegas gamblers that won't even consider gambling there right now, like a few months before the planned Demolishion of the Stardust, the taxi driver told my friends its fine to stay here, but dont gamble here because they are tight and they don't care because its going down.
