I've been experimenting with the Wicked Winnings II app playing the 7 center 1-3 reel bet..aka Jester Pete's style. I've had some decent luck with play money and surprisingly have been entertained. I am headed to Hollywood on Monday morning with a limited bankroll, but want to play for a few hours. I plan on urinating prior, and from around 8am till 11am when the buffet opens, playing WW2 Jester Pete style at 7 cent a spin to see what I end up with. Has anyone else tried this and enjoyed it? I know betting pennies to win pennies isn't what many here are into, but it's all a relative win and I'm excited to give it a go in the real deal.

Good luck CPT! I just looked and I've hit over $40 9 times on a 7 cent bet which is a great win multiple. Chelles hit 5 Ravens for $200 on a 14 cent bet last year. This will be basically a Jacks, Aces and Candles game. If you keep hitting a Jack on the 2nd reel you can play a looooong time. Be warned that people will look at you strange when the coins start flying on any win of a $1.75 or more! You can make it a little more interesting by betting 14 or 21 cents.

A hand pay is also possible betting 7 cents if you get all 11 Ravens:)

Good luck!

Pete

I hit $480 on a 30 cent bet last weekend. Not quite the 7 cent Pete way but not powerplay either. It was sweet!

Good luck! I sort of play that way too, except I'll play 7 x 5 (most of the WW2 here are two cent, so its actually a 70 cent bet). Hit $900 last summer, and $240 recently. Plus it lets me play for a long time that way without losing so fast.

I love it when you manipulate the system to your advantage!

I got the Jack, Ace, and Candle vibe playing with the app. That ok, I'll take some ravens though too! I won I think $2.50 and got the coin show, gotta love it. Do you ever get comments that you should bet more or do they just let you go? If they ask me, I'll tell them I'm new to slot machines. After all I'm playing a penny machine, why bet more than a few pennies!

A great example! That powerplay just sucks the money dry fast, time to go back to the basics and not have her respin to give me nothing on the fourth reel. Very Wicked!

Nice! I varied the bet with a multiplier and that was fun too. I may mix it up a bit if things go good. You just never know!

It is fun isn't it! I look at this way..I go in there with $60. If I do normal betting, I could easily be done in 30 minutes if no cooperation. Since I am mainly going just to get away to the casino for a few hours, I will take it easy, possibly make a few dollars or come out with a small loss rather than lose it all and be done quick. I may even try your 1 cent Hot Shot round after lunch. Low rolling special going to go down in Hollywood land!

I tried it several times , I won $120 betting 7c I got a lot of chalices. If you get a cold machine the pennies go fast. Have fun.

Good luck and have fun. I can see it now, the casino host running down the isle to give you lots of comps based on your play..;)

Learn something new everyday. I've noticed that Wicked Winnings does have an option where you can bet with just one reel, reels 1-2, reels 1-3, and of course 1-5. I've always done reels 1-5 though. But it might not hurt to try with just reels 1-3, upping the bet to see what happens. Hopefully I'm understanding correctly. :)

Answered my own question. I just got back from a late night trip to Rivers and played Reels 1-3 on a 2c WW slot. I played most 7 credits and had a couple 100- 200 hits with the rare 400. Even managed to get a 4th or 5th reel win whenever the same symbols appeared in the center of those reels. I made my $20 last just a little over an hour, so I was impressed. I can see how if the WW lady was generous how you can make a decent penny doing the 3 reels only. Usually playing with all reels, if I'm on a losing streak, I lose it all within ten minutes.

Will have to reduce the reels whenever I want to slow my money depletion down.

I almost always play the powerplay option because I don't want to miss out on a respin opportunity if the rows of she devils decide to show up. Also its not possible to get any free spins without playing the powerplay. Although I will say out of all the bonuses on games I play I don't get even a bit excited when the flames come up. 95% of the time the 15 free spins pays next to nothing. One time I put a 20 in and I got the free spins about 10 times within a few short minutes and a lady next to me looks at me in disgust and says something to the effect of some people are so lucky and here I lost the 20 and it didn't even take me 20 minutes betting 50 cents. I cashed out the odd cent TITO and gave it to her and said here now you can have my luck! If you can get entertainment betting 7c then by all means enjoy yourself but I am chasing that elusive 3 rows of she devil respins with the moneybags.

So that's Jester Pete Style. I think I'll have to try that. My BF can stay on a machine for hours. He's determined to win, but I seem to blow through money. Can you do something like that on 5 dragons? I like the game but when it goes cold, I want to try to last through it.

Once in awhile I will pay the power play, but I really prefer playing the Pete Way. Lately, I've been alternating between X3, X4 & X5, and even played a few X8 yesterday.

Good Luck, CPT.. get that elusive HP! If anyone can do it (besides Pete, of course), YOU CAN!

I usually play all reels, but I've been thinking about trying fewer reels on my .05 WWII machine. I really like to play but nickels go so fast on WWII (aka $100 or more in 1/2 hour - ouch).
