Your favorites treated me well

Here I am in Las Vegas.

My first stop was at Star Trek -- bet you couldn't have guessed, eh? The good news was that WMS straightened out my login. The bad news was that $300 disappeared quickly. :mad:

I took my remaining $100 and decided to try some of your favorites. Here are my results:

White Orchid: $76.05, $31.50, $16.56, $23.00, 67.25 (playing 80 cents)
$150 (playing 1.60 for 3 spins -- hit bonus and retriggered
5 times)

Zeus: $60 (playing 60 cents)

And then I played a WMS game that I found last visit:
Double Stampede: $26, $23.50 (playing 50 cents) $47.25, $44.25, $64 (playing 75 cents) and then I felt flush and played $2, after two spins hit for $109.

I dabbled with a few other machines and held my own, but didn't do much so they shall remain nameless.

I ended the day with $400, so I broke even.

I am going back for seconds today and unless I am way up am going to boycott Star Trek. Wish me luck!

Since you are on the Strip, at Paris, you might want to walk across the street and give the Belagio a spin. Per their web site:

That's my rankings based on my actual returns over the years, but I am a very small fish in a very big pond so take it for what's worth. Only been to Rio once, so it doesn't count.
Maybe take the shuttle to Orleans (pick up at Bills on Flamingo Blvd) and enjoy a terrific buffet at half the Strip prices.
BTW-try the Hot Hot Super Jackpot (Roman Riches) at Casino Royale, between Harrah's and Venetian. Play the one closest to Denny's. I won some on that one. I lost at Star Trek at Casino Royale, maybe you'll have better luck. You can buy a $1 Michelob bottle at Casino Royale.

So glad to see White Orchid was good to you!!! I haven't been winning much lately on it and played Treasures of Troy the other day to the tune of $352 winnings! I still love my Tarzan and Jane though! Keep it up and have a great time!!!!

I visited Goldfish but my favorite machine has not been available -- I guess the secret of it being loose is not such a big secret. Everyone I've seen at it has a credit balance in excess of $100... I tried a couple others in the bank of Goldfish but they didn't do anything worthwhile.

I revisited Double Stampede and BIG disappointment! The first session, as I said earlier, it was bonus, bonus, bonus and lots of good wins. I dropped $150 and had not a single return! And, I was betting fifty cents or seventy five cents, not max. Oh well. I still think it is a fun machine.

White Orchid (four different machines) did ok. I didn't lose any of my bankroll, and was up $75 on one machine. It retriggered a spin 4 times, that sure is fun. I always wish I had a big bankroll so I could bet $1.60 or even $2.40 on this machine as it usually pays.

I visited Palms and Ballys. Nothing really to report. I was hoping for some good wins on the Life of Luxury Alpine Adventure at the Palms, but I only stayed level. They have Star Wars, and I had fun going up and down on that machine. I miss having Star Wars, they have disappeared from most casinos that I frequent.

I spent a couple hours on the Star Trek machines at Ballys. Originally I sat down just to see if I could login without my Total Rewards card -- and yes, I can! So WMS did a perfect job fixing my account. I put $100 in the machine and it kept me going up and down for the entire time. There was a lady next to me who was really fun to talk to -- and I thought of you all on this forum because she had a "hovering husband." When he finally gave up and went back to their room she heaved a sigh of relief, and I we had a good laugh when I told her about the thread on this forum. She said he just can't resist watching her play, but whenever she wins he is all "You should cash out now," and when she loses he is all "you should have bet more (or less)" -- well, you get the picture. It was fun to play and talk to her, and say rude things to the machines when the bonus wouldn't show up.

Today I am done with the casinos. I am going to sit by the pool for a couple of hours so I'll have some sunburn (I will be careful) to prove I was here. I'm having a relaxing day watching TV (I have a huge HD plasma) and doing nothing.

I agree! I got 4 flowers and I said to the lady sitting next to me that it should give double the amount of spins!
