Of course, not me. But I would not have believed it if I didnt see it. A lady at the Seminole Coconut Creek Casino in Florida got the bonus round on Kilimanjaro by IGT. It gives you 45 free spins when you trigger the bonus with the possibilty of retriggering 45 more with three scatters. This game always seems to attract a crowd because of the high number of spins.
Ok so I thought nothing of it. Went to the buffet and came out to the floor about 40 minutes later. She was still in the bonus! She was betting 40 nickels and the bonus paid her 23,130 nickels, just a few short of a jackpot. What was funny was that she looked really bored. It went for about an hour No joke. She was one of those that never touched the screen or sped up the counting of each credit one.
Anyway, I do think its not so great that a machine gives you 650 free games and you cant win a jackpot. Over half of the spins were duds. But then again, she didnt wager a single bet in an hour. You cant beat that. This game is outrageous.

That game is interesting. I got over 200 spins on there and cashed out with about $400. I was playing pennies. I will tell you that I got BORED too! I never, ever would have thought that that would happen but it did. The thing about that game is that you can get the free spins, and retriggers but the spins are boring because they really do not amount to much. No stacked wilds to look and hop for or anything. I have never played it in nickels. For the amount of free spins you do get I was surprised at how often you can get them and how often it retriggers. FYI i seen this kilmanjaro game in action too, I tried playing it but I failed, i put about $60 in and was playing 30 x 1 at nickels. I seen someone at georgian downs in ontario getting like 200-300 plus spins and he only got like $400 out of it. At first I thought it was great to trigger a machine with 45 fres spins but than I realize it really does not give u a multiplier and stacked wilds or something special in the bonus hence it really does not pay well. Just my two cents

Btw for ontario people, if you can go visit georgian downs. They renovated and it is really nice with tons of new machines

Once again ... I am flabbergasted that 150 spins on a $2 bet did not pay you more than $800. It's still really good ... but that game has so much potential to hit big.

I played Kilimanjaro last night at Gold Strike in Tunica, and got 225 free spins. It so happened I was playing minimum, which was 20 cents. It didn't pay all that much for that many spins, just a few cents over 28 dollars. However, it was nice to be able to sit back for a while and not risk any of my own money for a litle while!

Wow...I'd say $28 off 225 free spins, even at a 20c bet, is worse than not "all that much." :eek: I've only gotten a huge number of spins on a game once - ~150 or so on Monopoly Jackpot Station - and that paid just under $90 on a 30c bet, which I would consider to be neither great nor terrible. One of the few other games I play where a huge number of free spins is a possibility is Zeus, and honestly, $28 is about the minimum I'm happy to win even on 25 free spins. I've never gotten the 100 spins on that game, but if I did and came away with $28, I'd be disappointed.

bama9999, you are so right. It feels good (especially on a night where Im on a losing streak) to just sit there and not put any money in. For the most part, Kilimanjaro is dissapointing. But its still excited when the retriggers come up. they give you false hope which is better than no hope at all, I guess. Plus, some of these games today have lightning fast bonus rounds. (Cleopatra and Cleopatra 2 come to mind). they're over before you know it and its no fun.
