View Full Version : Showboat free rooms

With AC hurting pretty badly, they have been sending out the free room offers. Unfortunately most of their offers are mid-week which I ahven't been able to take advantage of.
I noticed that they are offering me November 10 (I get Veterans Day off) and Friday, December 18 for free.
I am trying to figure out whether I want to do one or both offers. They do tell you that if you don't have play on your Harrah's account, they can still charge you for the room. Realistically, how much do you have to play for these offers?

I've been getting Harrah's AC offers like crazy, even Caesars is FREE during the week. I've never taken them up on any of them, so I'm not exactly sure on Harrah's policy on what is considered good play to keep it free.
I know at Borgata I usually look up the regular room rate. I'll bring that amount with me and play it through the machines. Any decent wins, I take. They've never given me any trouble and continue to offer me free rooms, so my method must be acceptable.
You can also try asking on the Atlantic City-Trip Advisor Forum (http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowForum-g29750-i78-Atlantic_City_New_Jersey.html). Quite a few knowledgeable HET players there.

Thanks for the resource. There were already people who asked a similar question. According to the forums, you have to do anything from earn one TR credit to play for about two hours. But I gather over there was that even if you don't play they wouldn't charge you. In any case, unless they want me to drop a grand, I should be ok.
