My name is QueenB and I am a Stinkin Rich addict. (isn't admission half of the solution? LOL)

I've been posting for a little bit, and had written up an intro, but when I tried to post it, it got lost in cyber space and I never got around to doing it again.

I live in Wisconsin, where all the casinos are NA. I've been spending way to much time at the Milwaukee casino. Have family in the Minneapolis area, so I play at Mystic Lake there when I go visit. Have been to Vegas a couple of times-even got married there. My gambo destination of choice is Tunica, Mississippi. I usually get there 2-3 times a year, going with a great group of friends most often. I like the gambling there, don't usually do too much of the "touristy" things on a trip anywhere, and, so far, they've taken care of me pretty well there.

I had never gambled until after I'd met my husband and he took me on a bus trip to some boats in Iowa. We went to 3 casinos on an overnight trip and I took $100 with me for the whole trip. Bet 1 quarter at a time, came out ahead, and I was hooked! I think he's regretting the monster he's created.

I love to go gambling-it's exciting and relaxing to me at the same time. That being said, it's entertainment. It's great to win, but I don't count on it, or expect it to happen. It can get expensive, but I don't like to shop or have a lot of expensive hobbies, so.........when the bills are paid, it's time to gamble!

I've really enjoyed this forum. A lot of great folks and knowledge on here.

QueenB hello and welcome, lots of action on this site. My wife and I go to Vegas at least once a year, and drive to Tunica every couple of months if we can. We really like it down there, they really seem to take great care of us. We are the same way, we go to gamble, love the slots. We live 17 minutes from four casinos so we do play quite a bit. Glad you enjoy it here, there seems to be alot of nice people.

Steps for curing your gambling problems

Step 1-->Admit you have a problem(yes I admit I have a problem)

Step 2-->Face your problem(I face my problem all the time in different casinos)

Step 3-->Set a limit( My limit is always $500 or 6am)

Stuck at step 3, could not progress further:)

Welcome QueenB - I'm rather new to the forum myself and have loved it since first sight. I've enjoyed your posts so thought you were a senior member, never paid attention to your classification. Snowed in here in Tulsa...even though I'm on casino hiatus .....yea for forum and free online slots to the rescue...

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. ygtgxi, I also appear to be stuck at step 3. It's a tough one to hurdle over. It's been a lot of fun trying, though!

Walt, I think the next Tunica trip will be in April. I'm REALLY looking forward to it, and trying to stay away from the local casino to keep my bankroll intact.

Deb, the GA thing may be coming, but so far the bills are getting paid and I haven't embezzled any money from my employer (not that there's any way for me to do that) to go gambling. Just in case, though, "It's been two weeks since my last casino visit." LOL.

Walt has Motor City, MGM Grand Detroit, Greektown and Casino Windsor - I am originally from Detroit so I am familiar with the casinos there but have only played at Greektown once with my late grandmother. I am now in the Miami area and WAS playing at Mardi Gras UNTIL Calder Casino opened two weeks ago.

biggurl1965 were you here before and or after the permanate casinos were built ? They now all have hotels and MGM was the only one that built a new one from the ground up.

I enjoy your posts and Tunica is also my favorite gambling destination. Hubby and I will be in Tunica in mid-April for a few days. I received an email for Sam's Town about a slot tournament for next weekend, that I am so tempted to go up for, but it's a 14 hour drive and I really need to save my $$$ for April.

I've seen you around, but it's nice to formally welcome you! As you already know, it's a great place to spend time! (Some of us - ME - probably spend too much time here! But it's the next best thing to actually sitting at a machine!)
