My wife and I have not been gaming for quite awhile. Two years ago my now twelve year old son was diagnosed diabetic and we have not had the nerve to leave him alone since. The Grandmas on both sides are both more than willing to help but we have just been too nervous. Anyways after a two year absence we will be making a trip to Coushatta on March 5,6,7. We will be going with a group that is at about twelve right now. One in the group is turning 21 and my wife and I both have birthdays in March. For My wife it will be the big FOUR OOOO! We are both looking forward to this trip and weather permitting I will get a chance to be abused by Kosati Pines golf course. What this forum will allow is a vent for my anticipation as I await March 5th.

Sorry to hear about the health troubles, sounds like this trip is well deserved and to go for a 40th bday is awesome. I wish you both a lot of luck! Please post often and post your trip report!!

I hope you guys have a great trip to Coushatta. What a great way to celebrate your March birthdays! I know your son will really enjoy his time with the grandparents while you are away.

Coushatta is one of our favorite casinos. Last month we spent a couple of days around New Year's Eve there. Then more recently my husband's Valentine's gift to me was spending February 14-17 at Coushatta. We had the best time. Coushatta has a great selection of slot machines (many new ones)--I am like a kid in a candy store when I go there! In addition to slots, I also enjoy playing video poker. I spent so much time on this trip playing the 50 and 100 line play video poker machines I thought Coushatta was going to charge me rent! The comps at Coushatta are really good also. Our comps took care of our hotel, meals, gas for our SUV, etc. How great is that! We are planning another trip there in March also. I can hardly wait!

You guys have a great trip. Enjoy your time at Kosati Pines Golf Course. One of our sons has been wanting to play that course also. Your countdown clock is getting shorter...March is almost here! Good luck and let us know how you did when you get back.:)
