The trip started Saturday morning departing my house at 8:45am. The trip down to AC is about 4 hours, with Allentown being the near middle and is my normal break point. You ready to roll? Let's go!

The route is simple I-80 East, I-476 South, I-76, Rt 42, AC Expressway. Boom you there! About an hour in on I-80 I came upon this truck with this dude's face on the back of it. I had no idea his product was so popular!

I checked in near 2pm and got a room on the 36th floor at the end of the hallway. I got excited for a minute thinking it was at the end where the suites are, but it was the last classic room. Oh well, next time maybe!

At this point things weren't real impressive looking at my bankroll. I was bored at about 5:30pm so I took a jaunt over to Trump Marina to check it out. That place is stuck in the 1980's! It was nice, but it had an older feeling. They took $60 and I left about an hour later. I can say I was there! Got me some Trump Ice from the CW on the way out:

That was the last of the impressive wins Saturday night. Overall Saturday stunk and I called it a night well in the hole $$$ wise.

Sunday morning I awoke at 5:30am, not sure why, but I did and couldn't fall back asleep. I watched from Nick at Nite reruns until 7am when Bread and Butter opened up.

It was now time for the slot tourney so I headed to the Event Center. It was a nice event and they had a huge setup of appetizers and other desserts. Two open bars were also available, which I did partake! The tourney machines were Triple Diamond. In my 6 minute play I scored a little over 2,000 points. At that time the high score was already 8,000 something, so I knew I wasn't going to cut it. Oh well, it was fun and I took my free drink and some cookies!

This is where I pick up from my teaser thread I posted yesterday. I found my way to a penny Stinkin Rich. With several hundred in my pocket, I cranked away at $2 a spin. What do you know, Keys to Riches!

Whee was that fun! The rest of the evening I just lounged around in the room until I fell asleep, with all my Benjamins in the safe sound and secure!

I was up at 6:30am, shower, and down to the Stinkin Rich by Bread and Butter to wait for them to open. $100 in, $155 out. That was from bonuses two spins apart. It was crazy, and I had a retrigger! I cashed that out, got the cash, got some more free breakfast, and upstairs I ran to check out.

With that $55 win this morning, it put me at a $35 win for the whole trip based on my bankroll for gambling. Sure I have to figure in gas, tolls, room fees etc, but that was going to be there either way. It was a fun way to spend a weekend that's for sure! :D

Those were taken with my Samsung Propel, which is only a 1.3 megapixel. Takes pretty good photos though and works well indoors.

Yeah those a great photos for a 1.3mp. Hopefully, this new blackberry will take as good of pictures. I think a lot of it is the picture taker and I guess I am not the best. Now I just have to figure out how to get it to take pictures!

I pondered on going over to Hilton to play GF2, but decided to stay on the northern end when I was over at the boardwalk. Next time! :D

I also forgot to mention I got to see my first homeless person sleeping at a slot machine at the Taj Mahal! He was in a deep sleep at that and not a security guard around to wake him up. I don't mind, but you can't tell me that paints a good picture for your establishment. At least it was an older IGT reel machine that they had a ton of, so he wasn't taking up any valuable real estate! :o

great trip report, you made out like a bandit in AC - i find the best time to go is at 3-4am.....that way you have pretty much all the machines to yourself. i will definitely have to try the borgata again one more time.

Super TR! i've been to AC once. am from bay area, flew to relatives in d.c., amtrak to PA train station & transferred to NJ train to AC, shuttle bus to harrahs, bus back to New Jersey & amtrak back to d.c. so never saw the car way. + i just love seeing any SR wins & you had a LOT! i love SR because it plays so fast & i bet that one bonus w/the 100+ games flew by real fast! thanks again for the pics & report!

Thanks for the great trip report! Now you have me jonesin' for a Borgata run. May let my wife see these to add a spark to the kindling for the coming weekend, as we are just 2 hrs from AC.
You really captured it as far as my overnighters at Borgata. We visit Trump Marina, too, and stayed once last fall. Definitely an 80's feel there; always wondered if it was just me.
Bread and Butter rules, although I mostly am having an espresso, and I like the machines in that area (a couple of MJPS machines just down the way...). Downstairs, my wife and daughter always eat at Panda, but I am a Fatburger fanatic. Learned about that place in Vegas. Maybe this year I will learn about In n Out burger.

Great TR - and winning on top of that makes it all the better. Some times I kick my b--- for moving from that area. But then I see the snow, the temps and the traffic and I am happy in West Texas. I just wish we had access to all those different machines. I have not seen those types of machines either in Albq. or AZ. but I just could be missing them. This was the older version. I believe it was 30 initial free spins. Then it retriggered 3 more times with 30 each for a total of 120. It was crazy! :D
