I don't play the original Deal Or No Deal.
However, this one looks like it may be some fun.
I would give it a try. Has anyone seen this out in the
casinos yet?

I have not seen this and here goes my attitude but I doubt I would play it anyway!!! lol. I don't play many community games. Not sure why but they don't really appeal to me.

Yes Deb - the attitude. You are exempt from responding to any of my game posts. We know how it goes! LOL

I might play it..
I used to like playing the original red one (never did like the blue) when I first saw it (at RR, Deb!). The game itself never paid diddly, but the bonus could be good, and it was pretty fun.
I might be too ADD to make the community game worth playing. I hate having to wait to cash out of those things. But, I would give it a try, depending on the denomination and how much extra the comm game is.
I wonder if it's like Monopoly Big Event, where there are different unrelated games attached to it. I think that sucks. I'd rather play the related game. Imagine if you got to play Monopoly Party Train with MBE! Stick with a theme, I say!

Here's a closer look at the screen caps.
In the base game, above the reels, there's cases NEEDED to qualify.
Although I'll try the game, that may be the deal breaker.

"This is what I mean about WMS games. The more flashy they are, the less they pay out. Give me an IGT stacked wilds game over this WMS junk any day."
How'd I do? :p

I didn't even notice this was posted in Atronic - I got to it through new posts - and I thought WMS had a lock on the (mostly) crappy community gaming market.
I'll only ghost write for you in the WMS forum. ;)

It looks kinda fun, I'd try it if I saw it. I actually played The Deal or No Deal at Borgata this past weekend and actually did fairly good on it accepting a deal for $35 and my case only had $10 in it. Getting the bonus seems rough on those though which is why I haven't been hooked.

Thanks for the close-ups, Mr (Joey) DeMille! I would give it a try.
Oh, you two.. Is there a time-out corner on the internet somewhere?!

Looks lame. I don't like community-based games in general and this looks nowhere near as good as the original Deal or No Deal I fell in love with (which, incidentally, I just found out is BACK at one of my favorite casinos! And was actually good to me this weekend! :D).
Two things jump out at me: one, I don't want the game to randomly pick cases for me; I want to do it myself (even though I know it has no effect on the payout of the game). The other one: look at how low those amounts are on the cases: 5000, 2500, then 1000 and below. The original Deal or No Deal cases were 5000, 4000, 3000, 2000, 1000, 750, etc, times line bet. On this game, I guess if you knock out the two highest you can resign yourself to a lousy bonus.

I agree, I do not like the community games either. Playing these games to me is like having those lurkers prying over your sholder. I also do not like having to spin fast to stay in the game.

Hi Ilanamoon:
As Deb pointed out -- this is not a WMS game. WMS games pay off as well as any manufacturer -- and this is a FACT.
Enjoy your stacked wild games ... I like them too ... especially when WMS makes them (eg. Zeus).
As long as there are players who enjoy the same game being released over and over again with different graphics, I'm sure IGT will keep releasing them.

If you actually read what I wrote, I was "quoting" Deb, and it was a joke. :) I love WMS games, play them more often than not (as evidenced by the single trip report I've posted here) but it's fun to tease Deb about her hatred of them. (Sorry, Deb. ;) ) We're all entitled to our opinions.

Good to know Ilanamoon. Everyone has a right to like different games. I just get bent when people try to say one manufacturer pays better than another. Joey is working on Deb ... but I will not hold my breath.
Deb and Joey -- we are expecting a blow-by-blow account of the "sparks" that fly when Deb plays WMS. Those cute little goldfish are going to swim their way into her heart :)

/\/\/\/\ the Shamus /\/\/\/\"Sparks" huh? I predict my head will blow off! Just kidding. We have confirmed that we are for sure going to LV (it was tentative there for awhile) and Joey is going to show me the "correct" way to play and do well on a WMS game. And I am going to show him the "IGT way" lol!!! Should be interesting. We will probably end up at the ER over all of this:eek: Just kidding. We are planning as many pics and videos as we can get!

I'm on Joey's side, I think it would be easier to convert someone to like WMS than it would be to get them to like IGT.

I agree, WMS screws me over constantly but their games really are a ton of fun even when you don't win much. I never liked Deal or No Deal so this means absolutely nothing to me and reminds me of the horrible Star Wars 'Community Gaming' which is completely useless.

What a waste, IMO.
