View Full Version : Hello from NY
Just want to stop by and say hello. Looking forward to join and contribute in meaningful conversations. Curious to know what members think about Racinos as I am close by to Empire City, Yonkers.
Hi Jenn welcome to the forum. I myself have never been to a racinos but there are a few people on here who have who can tell you about their experiences. Thanks for joining and looking forward to more posts from you!

Welcome Jen. I go to Empire. When it first opened, I found their machines to be SO tight. During my recent visits over the past year, they have loosened up a lot. I'll be up there this Saturday night. I just wished they had more WMS games, other than the classic series. But they are better than nothing.
Welcome :)

Hi Jenn,
Welcome and wishing you good fortune. I usually go to my local casino - Harrah's Chester, PA - which is a racino I guess because they're connected with a harness racing track. They have a great variety of machines (3,000), good places to eat, excellent attached indoor parking, and not too crowded on weekdays when I'm there usually on a Tuesday.

Hello and welcome. We have been to Dover Downs at it was a very nice casino. Lots of games plus horse and car track.

Hi Jenn! Welcome! Glad you're here! :)
Welcome Jenn - this is definitely the place to be if you're a slot lover - believe it or not it can actually pacify me until I can get to the casinos! Thank goodness I'm addicted to this forum and not the slots - I know when to quit at the casino - not here - I'm always on it looking for more........

Welcome to the board Jenn! I live 5 minutes from the Monticello Racino and the machines up here are setup differently then regular Casinos. The multiplier bet can't be used on the machines unless you're betting the max amount of lines. Example of this is Coyote Moon...if you're betting 20 or 30 lines, you can only use the 1 bet multiplier but if you bet 40 lines then you can bet times 2, 3, 4, or max bet - 5 times. I've been to Yonkers once and it was unbelievable how many machines there are in there! But like you Joey said...found the machines to be very very tight....and the offer for free play is practically nothing!
Welcome to the forum Jenn. We love to hear of casino visits and enjoy pics even more.

Hello from a Ex-NY'R. I liked Yonkers, the only thing I did not like about Yonkers is some of the machines you have to read them very carefully,to play all the lines is like 150 lines which is pretty steep for me.I like to play the dollar wild cherries in the small room upstairs.
