Do casinos you have never played at offer comps to you if you normally play at a 'sister' casino??? We have a free trip coming in about a week including airfare, 3 nights and transportation to and from airport and we have never stepped foot in this place. We do visit an MGM property in Tunica and this is an MGM property as well. **Now hear me out I am very very grateful and excited about a free trip** but I was just wondering do you think they would offer any free play or buffet comps? Don't wanna push my luck or seem ungrateful, but like momma said "you'll never know unless you ask" :D
Also as many times as I have been to a casino I have NEVER used one of those kiosk machines. I can get comps through my play via one of those too...right????

Call a host and tell them that you play or have played at there sister casino and to see if there is anything they can do about extending you some type of free play offer? Can't hurt, the worst that there going to say is, "YES"...haha...:) Good Luck!!!!

What a coincidence! I play a lot at the Harrah's Cesar Windsor property and I got offered the same trip for 3 nights and shuttle service to Tunica, MS. I am gladly accepting their offer for $259 for two of us -hopefully future offers will be free! Great way to see other properties using their resources plus fly on a charter with no TSA to feel you over. Food comps come from the hotel itself they told me, and based on your play. Have fun and please let us know which Tunica casino you played at and how you did!

@ lindcp12: Oh we ALWAYS go to Tunica. The free offer we got was to fly us down the the gulf (Biloxi) and stay at the Beau Rivage. But since you are going to Tunica I will tell you I love the Paula Deen buffet at Harrah's, but hubby and I love playing at GoldStrike and Horeshoe. If you are staying at Harrah's I would suggest taking their shuttle over to Horeshoe because there are 3 casinos VERY close together: GoldStrike, Horseshoe, and Roadhouse. Hope you have a great time!!!!!!

I dropped about three grand in Boyd Gaming's SamsTown and never received an offer, but I just received an offer from their "sister," The California, for a week's free stay plus $50 free play a day.:confused:

See GG that to me is CRAZY. You think they would want you back and to offer you NOTHING seems ridiculous. Their loss. I am very loyal to an MGM property in Tunica and it gets the majority of my play. I have never been to Biloxi but this was my 2nd offer I received from them for round-trip air and accommodations and the timing was right so I figure I will take them up on it. Where I normally play always sends me 2 free nights anytime, free buffets, tickets to headliners and about 250 month free play (but I live 3.5 hr away so I never get to use all that :( ) . It just amazes me that a place I NEVER have been would fly me over and give 3 nights.

Things that make you go hmmmmmm.............

**And do any of you guys use the kiosk machines??** Pretty simple to use I'm assuming........

I am a Total Rewards card holder with HET. I basically only play at 2 of their casinos, AC and Chester, but I get offers for Vegas, Biloxi, Tunica, Windsor, etc. So it is not uncommon to see offers to their other properties.

You may be asked to visit their vacation property (if they have). This may be a free visit to give them a sale of their vacation resort. Check it out -- see if they have any property other than their "casino".

Well, ..... relax now.... a comp offer is different from a comp. A comp is when you use the offer.........an offer is just an offer.

Now that that is not straight..........following my previous LV trip I'm (12 months running) being offered 3 nights from my "home" hotel, (resort, casino, whatever it was) plus other goodies, next.......my best offers are from a downtown Boyd property that got my second-best play, and they have (drumroll......) coin-drop VP, and finally, from Harrah's where I gambled 40 whole bucks, I've been sent for the last 6 months and counting, the goofy HET free rooms calendar.

The comps game is a matter of "let's spend a bulk mail price" and maybe get some ROI, or shoot an email and maybe we''l clear a buck. The industry seems to be "looking for its legs".
