The first wave of no-armed bandits were delivered to Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack Monday.
Harrah's officials are still pointing toward a mid-January opening for their 115,000-square-foot gaming facility, which will include 2,750 slot machines, most of the video variety. The first wave of machines were manufactured by Aristocrat, an Australian company known for popular games like Mr. Cashman, Reel Power and Mark VI. Just 12 of the Harrah's machines have a traditional mechanical wheel that is triggered by the pull of an arm. Harrah's Chester will also feature three lounges, six restaurants and a banquet area. The casino will employ a slot operations workforce of more than 100, including technical staff.

That certainly sounds like a huge undertaking and I would love to visit it. Where exactly in Pennsylvania is it? I have friends in Pennsylvania that I visit and if it is close to where they are I may just take a side trip a day or two before going on to my friends' place.
That would be cool, being one of the first people to play at a new casino and win a jackpot at the slots. I'm sure that when they first open they will definitely have them set looser in order to get the people telling other people about the fantastic wins they had.

I live in Philadelphia and look forward to going to a closer casino than A/C, but I'm not really a video slots player.
