Default Tangiers Requires Tip on Jackpot

If you hit a big jackpot at the Tangiers, you will now be required to tip the slot attendant or be banned from the casino. They are the first Vegas casino to implement this policy.

I can see tipping a dealer, but I'm not going to give a percentage of my progressive jackpot win to somebody who's just standing around. Sorry that the casino is too cheap to pay you enough, but a percentage tip on hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars will likely end up being thousands of dollars to ten thousand bucks.

Tangiers should pay their employees and not expect us to do so. Of course, I guess you can always skip out on the tip and take the ban.

Maybe I'm overreacting, and I certainly have no problem with tipping. I just don't like the idea of them actually having a policy regarding the practice.
