I love the PINBALL machine when it came out but I have never been able to hit a hefty amount on that bonus round. I believe the biggest amount I've hit is 180 coins on a $5 machine and about 240 coins on a $1 machine. This is not that great compared to maybe wheel of fortune and top dollar.

Default Super Money Grab

Some of the most successful WMS Gaming slots were the licensed, "Monopoly" series. Until 2007, Monopoly has taken a back seat to other WMS innovations. With the release of, "Super Money Grab", Monopoly is back on the map.

WMS calls the new technology associated with this game, "Transmissive Gaming". The five-reels are mechanical ... but the area around the reels is video. This allows for characters to appear to interact with the reels. In addition, the video is projected on the reels (with a little technical magic). As if this was not enough, you can actually select symbols on the reels by using your finger to point to the object displayed on the mechanical reel. Add great graphics, snappy soundtrack and the regular Monopoly-themed fun, and you will find out why these slots are attracting a crowd on the slot floor. In 2006, this technology won the more innovative.

If you are interested in viewing a video, you can navigate www.wmsgaming.com under the TRANSMISSIVE GAMING section to learn more. On a recent trip to FOXWOODS Casino, it was almost impossible to get a machine.

Let's hope WMS Gaming keeps up the innovation.

Wow, I can't imagine paying $5 for a spin on a slot machine, topdollarplayer.

When I saw the big multiplayer game I really liked it, but then I realised I had to bet three units per spin at 25c per go just to even get a chance of being involved in the multiplayer bonus - I don't even like playing 75c per spin, becasue $100 can disappear in no time at all

Does anyone know if a multiplayer Wheel of Fortune Exists online?

Also, is there a multiplayer monopoly slots in casinos now? I think if wheel of fortune is the biggest slots name in the casino, then monopoly must be the second biggest

I'm not sure if this is appropriate, but I've just started a website looking at the IGT slots - I've only just started to develop it, so only the front page is approaching completion, but does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on how it looks? I'd really appreciate it.

My wife and I went to Vegas for our Honeymoon almost 5 years ago. We make it a point to go back 2-3 times a year. I've played blackjack, even roulette...but slots are what we love (for whatever reason)

Good posts Shamus. I'll look out for the Cleopatra or actually pay attention to it this time around (I've seen them, never played them). Regarding the Wheel of Fortune machines, those used to be my favorite but lately they seem so tight regardless of what casino you're in. I would feel very safe in saying that the lower denominations are definately what the wheel lands on 9 times out of 10 when you get to spin. I've hit the 1000 once on a quarter machine in Caesar's (on my honeymoon, no less) and that's been about it for me. Tons of 25's, 40's etc. etc. My wife has hit a couple good one's, but she too agrees about them being tighter in our opinions.

Nickel Heaven in the Riviera is a ton of fun. Of course with the advent of paper tickets it takes away from the thrill, but hey, it's all good.

We're going to make it a point to check out the Sahara, Stratosphere and possibly Orleans this time around due to several websites showing statistics for favorable slots. Even the Palms maybe.

Lately, I have really been enjoying the G+ Platform of games put out by WMS. These games include, "Brazilian Beauty", "Zeus" and "Palace of Riches 2".

While I personally found Brazilian Beauty a little too volitile for my own tastes, the "Palace of Riches" is terrific as a low-denomination (nickel, 2-cent, 1-cent) machine. When you geta "Big Win", it says, "Big Win" and makes a big deal. The graphics are top-notch and the sound is good. For all 3 games -- 3 trigger symbols scattered give you the bonus round. In "Zeus" and "Palace of Riches 2", you get 10 free spins for 3 symbols, 25 spins for 4 symbols ... and 100 spins for 5 symbols. I have received 4 symbols several times ... and unless you are unlucky (which happens), you can could on a significant payback. If you get 100 spins, I'm sure it would be very lucritive!

All 3 games used, "stacked bonusing" ... meaning some of the symbols appear on 3 reels in a row --- meaning one of the top payouts would be a whole "sheet" (15 symbols) with the same graphic (including WILDs).

These are mainly 30-line games --- and I would recommend them for a good time. The money goes up fast and also comes down fast. You have been warned.

Default Sun and Moon - Aristocrat

Aristocrat makes machines which are casino favourites ... which proves you do not need expensive licensing agreements to have a popular game.

One of the best Aristocrat machines is Sun and Moon. This is available as a 9-line and 20-line configuration. The "Sun" logo and "Moon" logos are both wild ... and if any combination of the two symbols appear from left to right, you receive (5 free spins for 2 sun/moon, 10 free spins for 3 sun/moon, 25 free spins for 4 sun/moon and 50 free spins for 5 sun/moon). If you play the game for 3 or 4 hours, it is reasonable to expect you will receive 50 free spins at some point during your session. It is also probable you will re-trigger some extra free spinss as the spinning takes place. As you might expect ... it is not easy to win big bucks during a spin -- so you will need lots of spins to score big money.

All of the "wilds" and the possibility of "free spins" keeps things hopping. There is also a "pyramid symbol" on the second reel (only) which reveals a random logo (hopefully a wild).

I highly recommend this game ... and although this machine has been around several years, it is still a tough machine to secure. Truly the mark of a good machine.

Cool

hiya,

slots I usually gravitate towards are:
The Munsters (consistent payouts, and I never complain about havin to loosen the machines up.

Ring Quest (is pretty fun, I like choosing the path, and I've had decent payouts.)

I used to play Wheel of Fortune, but never ever have I seen the bonus round dish out anything other than the chump change amounts while I've been playing or watching anyone else play...so the novelty of watchin the wheel spin around has worn off for me.

a machine called Red, White & Blue was really fun, always gave action to keepya in the game...but Harrah's Rincon yanked those machines

oh yeah, actually there is a particular Unicorn machine that on 4trips I burned $5 through it each time...I stretched out play for a long long time, but got tired of trying to loosin it up...not once did the damn thing even give up chump change and return my bet unbelieveable! however, while I was watchin my wife rackin up the Munsters, I gave the Unicorn next to her a go...and I actually got a very nice gaming session out of it, it was payin out consistently! I guess someone flipped the miser switch off finally

oh yeah, and Jackpot Party is pretty fun...at first I didn't like it, but it grew on me

Default The Munsters - IGT

I almost "cringe" when I see licensed slots machines. It's like licensing a movie to make a video game -- it's almost always generic. In the case of IGT's Munsters ... this is an original ... and a rare game which has retained popularity over a long period of time.

The Munsters slot was an innovator in many ways. Although it comes in a 9-line form ... it is also available as a 25-line machine --- very unusual in North America at that time. The game pays from left-to-right or from right-to-left. The second and forth reals contain a "bat" which is while for all symbols on that reel. The "face" symbols are worth the most. You receive a payout for just having two symbols.

The bonus round requires 5 symbols on a payline (which is an unusual trigger) ... however, this is actually easier than it sounds. The bonus round allows you to keep picking characters from a 4 x 6 grid until you have 3 the same. There is also one multiplyer (2x) mixed in.

A "scatter pay" random bonus amount is also available when 3 to 5 monsters show up on adjacent reels. This game was way ahead of it's time ... as the graphics are still decent by current standards.

Recommended for players who like their play with a little less volitility.

Default Like the Unicorn

Hi Blitzed:

I like Ring Quest ... but I have trouble winning any serious money on it.

I have managed to have some good wins on Enchanted Unicorn. I was playing the "reel version" of the game -- which does not have the Treasure Chest bonus ... and therefore hits more frequently. I was playing 9-lines with a nickel bet ... and hit $940 --- almost 20000 nickels for a 45-cent total bet. I had princess/lion on reel one, then a unicorn on reels 2,3,4 and a princess/lion on reel 5. You can hit a decent amount if you can string a few unicorns together!

Is the Red, White and Blue game the video reel version?
