I don't know if anyone saw this already or not, but the Liberty Belle in Reno closed down about 4 months ago to make more room for the convention center. The Liberty Belle was named after Charles Fey's investion, the Liberty Bell slot machine, which was the first slot machine. The saloon has been run by his 2 grandsons for several years now. i guess they have over 600 antique slot machines they're auctioning off. Sad to see this happen.

I hate to hear that. You talk about slot machine history. Someone should turn it into a museum of slots.

Wow, that is sad. It's too bad they didn't open up somewhere else. Guess they were offered the almighty dollar to sell something that has been going for generations. Good idea though to have a slot museum set up in a casino so that when people go to play they also have a chance to look at history.
