Hi all,
I'm from New England, Connecticut to be specific. Our two main attractions are Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. Foxwoods has the most slots in the world (and they're currently adding on!) but Mohegan is my absolute fav!!! If you have never been to Mohegan Sun you have GOT to check it out! I'm planning a trip to Atlantic City in the near future so I'm excited about that, too. I've asked for feedback about it in another thread but feel free to leave any here as well! Thanks ![]() |

Thanks for the advice. I may be going there in a few months on business, and I was wondering which casino would be the best. Sounds like I'll be stopping at the Mohegan Sun.
If I win, maybe I'll split my money with you. Just kidding.

I've been to the Mohegan Sun once and had a really great time. Hope I can go back again in the future.

I go to both Mohecan Sun and Foxwoods usually once or twice a year. They are tremendous. One thing to keep in mind is that Mohecan Sun, though it is a single casino, is actually 2 casino floors with a mini-indoor shopping area between the two casinos. Foxwoods is actually about 5 casinos floors located in separate parts of the Foxwoods complex. In Atlantic City, the closest to this layout might be considered Bally's Park Place. It's considered one casino though it consists of Wild West, Coyote Kates, Claridge and Park Place.
Of the 2, I like Mohecan Sun best. Better restaurants and less walking between casino floors. Ricky |

Hi Folks:
Scratch one vote up for Foxwoods. It is enormous -- but I liked the walking. Since I have visited through the week, it was not very busy in the evenings. I have finished up money both visits to Foxwoods ... and the selection of machines is unmatched. The food court is massive. The comps were good --- make sure you get a players card. You can get cash back, along with money to be spent in their store. I have nothing bad to say about Mohican ... except that Foxwoods, although not quite as fancy, has more machines, the latest and the greatest. Even bigger? Another reason to visit. /\/\/\/\ the Shamus /\/\/\/\ |

I did not see the MGM at Foxwoods ... but I would like to. It was interesting how each of the slot floors had plenty of overlap for popular machine, but lots of uniqueness in the machine selection on the different floors.
The payback percentages, at least in my play, seemed very good. I don't know how they stack up to other locations. From my experience, it was much better than Atlantic City (as an example). /\/\/\/\ the Shamus /\/\/\/\ |
