Default Odds of Winning

Does anyone really know the odds of winning a "BIG" PAYOUT on the slot machines.

Is there a book that has some history on the various machines or is it really just a matter of luck. The more I watch the more I feel it is a matter of luck. Like some people can't seem to do anything wrong at the slots while others no matter how they play, what machine they play, or how often they play can't seem to do anything right.

Curious minds wish to know.

Didn't they figure this out?
What I want to know is, if they have people who are figuring the lottery by computer and buying syndicates of tickets, can people do that in casinos too?
Just walk in en masse and throw money at the machines until they win?

I remeber watching a progran on the Disovery Channel that dealt with some gambling issues and they did quote regulations for slots and vids in Nevada. But the regs are different in each state and are enforced by each states Gaming Commision - or in your case, each province could have different regs. So you have to research for your area and you also have to know whether the regulations are different for Triabl Gaming - they frequently are.

Hmmmmmmm that's very interesting to know. So that means that the slots that are at the horse racing tracks would have different odds than the Casinos built on Indian Reservations.

I wonder where one would go to find out that kind of information.

I read somewhere that it depends on the machine, but if it is a regular machine then the odds are 1 in about 25,000. For the bigger machines (maximum jackpots) the odds are 1 in 134 million. So basically if you are looking to win a huge jackpot, you have better odds to win a state lottery. I thought the odds were better, but I guess not. Good luck everyone!
