You know the type of people I'm talking about. The ones who sit at a machine but also play the two machines on either side of them (then yell at you if you try to sit down and play).
There also also the ones who have a friend sit next to them. The friend drops in a coin every 5 minutes or so to keep the illusion that they're playing but otherwise just takes up a machine. These people are no big deal until a casino starts to get crowded. Anybody have any stories about slot hogs or tips on how to deal with them? |

I guess you should try talking to the hog at first and asking them if you can sit down and play next to them (assuming the casino is packed).

Try talking to the person and be polite. Explain that the casino is crowded and you would like to use one of their 3 machines. If they're polite, there shouldn't be a problem.
Of course, if they were polite, they wouldn't be taking up 3 machines in the first place. Your most realistic alternative is to inform a casino employee and have them go over and talk to the offender. This will get you an empty slot, but you'll also have to sit next to the person (who will probably make ugly comments and give you dirty looks for the rest of the evening).
