I have recently received his brochure about winning at slots. Has anyone gotten this book and is it any good. In other words should I waste money on it?
I am new, so please be gentle. |

Even with that book out there, the casinos are still in business. Don't waste your money.

There is a significant advantage to the house with slots. There are advantages to playing higher denominations etc --- but the advantage is overwhelmingly infavour of the house. There is no skill involved in slots. Use a players card to at least get your comps. Play to have fun.

Look at the long history of classic casino games like Blackjack and Roulette. People have found ways to beat the house (both legal and otherwise). The house always finds a way to remove the exploit ... and turn things back to the house. It's not impossible that there is a way to make money on slots ... but it is highly unlikely.
The last one I heard was many years ago when WMS had a bug in their "bill changer software". When you put in a $20, but stopped it from going through at the last minute. Every lower denomination (eg. $1) would register as a $20. I'm pretty sure that would be considered illegal. /\/\/\/\ the Shamus /\/\/\/\ |
