Slot machine repair

I have an old slot machine (Adam and Eve). it will work fine the first two pulls and after that it will do

Infinite pulls
no payout

only way to make it work is to pull out the hopper and push a lever and then put it back in.

its an electro mechanical machine. if anyone can help me with ANYTHING to do with it please let me know.
