Many of the posters here are from locations all over the world - you didn't say where pala casino is, and if it's one no one here has been to (or even heard of) chances are they read your post but had nothing to offer. FYI - the "giant checks" are usually props for the pictures - you would more than likely recieve a cashier's check for any amount over several thousand dollars. As to your other comments, all I can say is I hope you drop your $$ in the slots with the same reckless abandon as it improves my odds. Kate |

Um...so does that mean you still want an answer? If you still wanna know... The wins you see are mostly WoF winners and that is paid by IGT annually. Those pictures with the huge checks are a formality for advertisement purposes. When you hit a jackpot, you can request a check or cash. Usually there is a minimum amount to issue you a check. The casinos I go to, the minimum amount to receive a check is $3600. But I am sure the varies everywhere. A few years back, I found Pala to have really loose slots in the high limit room. After a mild remodel and addition of new slots, I found the new slots to be tighter and not as fun. Good Luck, TOP DOLLAR PLAYER |
