Paradise Jackpot is Hit Again!

For the third time in as many weeks, Paradise Jackpots has struck again, this time making a winner out of a Cathedral City man at Spa Resort Casino.

Steven, who is an MRI tech at Desert Regional Medical Center, was playing nickel slots with his Paradise Rewards card when his machine froze up at 7:48 this morning. "I didn't know I won," Steven said. "I thought I just won $50, but then a guy came around the corner and said 'you're the Paradise Jackpot winner' I was so surprised!"

The total payout was $72,354.43; not bad for a spin that would have been worthless otherwise. Twenty-three other people who also had their Paradise Rewards card in their slot machine also won $50 as part of the celebration.

Steven, who moved to the desert full time last year, says he will most likely use the money to buy a new truck with air conditioning now that he's a full time desert dweller. He said he will also bring family out for a visit and then invest the rest of the money.

The Paradise Jackpot at Spa Resort Casino will now start over at $25,000.
