A few days ago I posted a list of the progressive slot games available at Microgaming online casinos; today I'm posting a list of Playtech progressive slots. Playtech and Microgaming are the two leaders in online casino software, and I think the latter might have the advantage in terms of progressives, BUT Playtech does have some great offerings:
Cinerama - A 5 reel slot with 5 paylines. It's a nickel slot machine with a max bet of 25 cents. The jackpot starts at $15,000. Diamond Valley- A 5 reel slot with 5 paylines. It's a dollar slot machine with a max bet of $5. The jackpot starts at $5000. Fruit Mania- Another 5 reel slot with 5 paylines. This one's a quarter machine with a max bet of $1.25 per spin. The jackpot starts at $1250. Gold Rally- This is a 3 reel slot machine with 8 paylines. It's a $2 machine with a max bet of $16 per spin. The jackpot starts at $75,000. Magic Slots- This is a 3 reel slot machine with 3 paylines. It's available in the following denominations: 25 cent, 50 cents, $1, and $5. Max bet is 3 coins. Mega Jacks- This is a progressive verion of Jacks or Better video poker. It's a 9/6 machine and it's available in both a 25 cent version and a $1 version. You have to place the max bet to be eligible for the progressive jackpot. When the jackpot is high enough, you'll actually have a positive expectation playing this game, if you play with perfect strategy. MegaBall- This is a keno/lottery type game. Safecracker- This is a 3 reel slot with 1 payline. It's available in the same denominations as Magic Slots, above, and max bet is 3 coins. Wall Street Fever- This is a 5 reel slot with 5 paylines. It's a ten cent slot, and the max bet is 50 cents per spin. The jackpot starts at $1500.

Thanks for the list. I recently tried the MegaBall game and it was a real blast.

I'd really love to get to try some of the new ones - but all playtech sites are blocked to US players. Are these games at any other sites that we CAN still play at?

Golden Palace isn't blocking US players. That would include all the casinos in that group, like Aspinalls, Flamingo Club, 24kt Gold Casino, and Grand Online. (I have a suspicion that they might not be Playtech casinos for much longer though.)

I thought a lot of the casinos were separating from the poker sites e.g. Prima in order to be able to still cater to online U.S. players. Was that just a rumour or did it happen? Also is Playgate amongst those that have banned the U.S. Players?
