Don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, if not maybe I could be directed to a better thread. When playing slots, what is the best level to play? I have read somewhere that keeping it at $1.00 gives you the best chance to get a lot of play, while at the same time, have a chance for a good win. So what do you think? Thanks.
Very Nice Hit's Turd and Lop!! Way to Go, and thanks for sharing!!
My biggest win on pennies was at CTown, $2198 on Mystical Mermaids. This was upstairs area, about a month ago. I got all of the Seahorses on max bet!! All in bonus round. Prior to that it was $1900 on WWII, but that was last year. I did get a pic of the end result of the mermaid on my phone, dont know how to put it on this site.
My highest to date is the $809+ that I won a week ago on Hangover at the Parx Casino in PA. I am hoping to top that in March with my trip to Vegas.
The only rule for slots is only bet what you can afford. The amount of play time depends on your bankroll and your bet size. If you want to play a long time take $500 and bet 20 cents a spin. If you want to leave early take $200 and bet $5 a spin. The amount you win means nothing unless it's compared to your bet size. This is called your win multiple (win/bet) and it's the only thing that really counts.
That being said, it's more exciting betting higher because the possible wins are higher but NOT your win multiples on linear pay machines. Your chances of coming out ahead are the exact same no matter what you bet. Over the long term ( a year or 2 or less) you'll simply lose more by betting more.

I don't have a picture as my cell phone required service for even the camera to work--and in Trop in AC I am always in SOS/X . I was playing the .01 Sydney Omar's Horoscope the one that was connected to Fort Knox at the time betting max ($5) and got the bonus, picked Libra which was the 10x multiplier and re-triggered 6x for a total of 70free spins at $5 x 10x and ended up winning 4974.50. Earlier, before the hand-pay the machine was paying me like an ATM, all together I pulled nearly 10k from that machine all one 25fp+$100 of my own money. The next time I was in Trop...Omar was gone...gone...gone...![]()
When people post that they won a jackpot on a 50 cent bet - do they mean 50 cents total for that spin, or do they mean 50 cents per line?
