My mom won the grand progressive on 1.50 bet in 2009 at Barona. The bonus round was the matching prizes. Good luck.

Early last year I won the Bank Buster grand progressive ($43,000) on a 50 credit ($1) bet. You don't need to bet max as I was told that there is a case of a lady who betted only 14 credits ($0.28) and won the grand prize (at that time $52,000). Reason why many players put in max bet is that the feature would come more frequently and therefore their chances are higher in striking the grand progressive.

Played them with the max bet and a mid range bet. Never once came close to the top progressive... Best I've done was the mini a few times. They claim on a lot of these machines max bet increases odds of winning top prize but honestly unless it gives you some sort of specific advantage I've never seen the max bet help.

Machines that used to give you advantage with the max bet were the Wizard of Oz one that had the "barn bonus" it if you bet 3x then it gave you 3 barns with the "progressive" played 5x it gave 5 and so on. I've had such bad luck on these multi-level progressive machines I don't play them unless it gives a CLEAR advantage to the max bet.

There is an advantage on a spin to spin basis, but a five bet spins has the same chance as five one bet spins.

the lady did not win on .28 cent bet. In order to win the progressive, you have to have at least bet .50 cent. that is the minimum to have the bonus trigger turn on. All the progressive are won by way of bonus for bank buster. the reason people play max is because the bonus payout is more and you get less arrows to pick in the building bonus and less needed gold in the safe crack bonus. If the bonus dont come out often, your screwed betting max bets. Some people get lucky and it comes often for them.

my dad won 2 yr ago 21k with 2 bucks bet on the building bonus. of course it's put back into the machine by then. it made him crazy. first time ever to win that much and he keep playing the same game max bets ever since. He thought it was going to be easy to hit. So he doesn't really play any other slots no more. Some times people get crazy playing one game cuz they hit it by accident. there are better machines out there that have higher payouts with 1.50 bet or 2.50 bets. That's what you get when your parents are older and dont know much english. they dont look at the payout for the games vs. how much risk bet. It's like an addiction. they get addicted to one slots due to hitting it big by luck.

Not sure whether we are talking the same Bank Buster slots. At Resorts World Sentosa (Singapore), you don't need max line (50 credits) to trigger the Bank Buster feature. I had tried betting less than max line and had the features appearing. Its true that if you are betting max credit which is 250 credits ($5) per spin, your feature payout is usually more than those betting lesser credits. And as I had previously posted, max bet would give the players better edge in terms of more frequent appearance of the Bank Buster features.

The other point to note in Bank Buster is that in the building feature, it is a 10-step ladder to reach the grand progressive. Whether you play 50 credits or max bet at 250 credits, you would still need to climb 10 steps to reach the top. Of course you will collect larger amounts as you climb up the ladders if you play max bet.

All of the bank buster that i've seen. You can't play less then .50 cents to get the bonus trigger. There is a button that turns on and off the bonus that cost .25 cents. If you turn on the bonus, you have no choice but to only bet .50 cents as the least bet. any bet lower than .25 cents will not trigger the bonus. Your talking about slots in singapore. I guess it's different from usa version.

You hit 5 bucks for the mini, bobbeeone? that casino sucks. All the ones i've seen start the mini jackpot at 20 bucks. minor at 100 bucks, major at 1000 bucks, and grand at 10000 bucks. stay away from ones that start mini at 5 bucks because they casino is messing up the standard odds to lower your advantage. If they are messing with standard set payout odds from aristocrat , who knows what else they messing with?
