I have won fairly big on the same night. Both were cashman machines. I hit for $900.00 or so on a $1.25 bet. Then 30 minutes later hit on another cashman for $1100.00 on a $1.25 bet. Nice night.

    Talk about a necrobump!

OT: Yes, twice on one night, but not huge, close to $200 each

Does twice in one weekend count? I hit QH for $2300 on a Friday am, came back the next morning and hubby hit $2000 on the machine next to the one I won on! Very nice weekend for us!

Hi gdh, yup did that, once of course, on a Sizzling 7s $1.

    Default Doesn't happen often!

Back in February, 2004, I actually hit 6 jackpots in one night.

I started out on my favorite Triple Dollar dollar machine and I hit TT7's on two coins for $1800. I then started playing max bet and hit TT7's twice more for $2700 each. This all happened in a 1.5 hour period. While I was waiting for my hand pay the last time I hit, I decided to put $40 in the triple black tie to the right of me and hit for $1200 (I think it was a Triple Red, White and Purple if I remember right). After that I wandered around a bit and found another $1 Triple Dollar machine. After about 15 mins, I hit TT7 again for another $1800. After playing a little bit here and there I decided to go back to my original Triple Dollar machine. I put $100 in it and although it wasn't doing anything astounding, it was up and down, it kept me playing on that $100 for about two hours. During that time I watched person after person try the 10x 10x machine to the left of me, and nobody was hitting anything. After awhile I decided just to put $40 in it, and within a few spins I hit 10x 10x yellow bar on max bet for $3000! A VERY GOOD night!!

Then two summers ago, once again playing a $1 Triple Dollar machine, I hit
TT7's on 2 coins for $1800 each and then TTT on one coin for $1000--it also gave me little things here and there, I ended up taking over $5000 from that machine. Another VERY GOOD day!!

I'm still waiting for another day like those, but as everyone else has stated, can't seem to hit anything anymore, machines are tight, tight, tight! But we still gotta try, right?!

    Wow HScasgirl!

    Great story.

Having the kind of success you had would certainly keep me on the mechanical reels. Do you still stick with the mechanicals or do you try the videos also?

One of my friends won $86,000 on an old slot (handle pull, insert quarters) this machine had 2 jackpots both at over $80,000..he hit the top jackpot..after he won, (at Harrahs in LV) they flew him out and picked him up from the airport by limo..every friday for about 2 months..and yep..he did hit the 2nd jackpot for $80,000 + again.. he will admit that he has put most if not all of it back..

I still only play the old quarter or dollar mechanical reels. I know a lot of people on this site say they are boring, but I really enjoy them and don't find them boring at all. I always tell myself I will try video penny or nickel machines, especially after reading all the talk about certain machines on this forum, but cant' seem to bring myself to do it. They seem too complicated for my little pea brain, deciding how many lines, what to bet, bonus rounds etc. lol! I like to listen to my Ipod, zone out and just watch those reels come down-it's pretty straightforward! Besides I figure if can spend upwards to a $1 or more a bet on a penny or nickel machine I might as well play the quarters or dollars where the odds are a little better and the rewards can be so much greater even if you don't hit a jackpot.

The more I read here, however, the more tempted I get to give them a try..... some day.

Lately I've been trying to control my bankroll by playing more mechanical reels. I still feel very compelled to play some of the videos, but overall I'm holding on to my money longer playing the mechanicals. I've had some nice hits on the reels, too. And they do add up.

Can't fault the video reels for entertainment ,but they can be pricey.

Those are all that I play now for winning. I've hit on a 5 line $1 Triple Red Hot 7's twice in the same 15 mins. $1350 and $1350.

Had several same day multi-machine wins: $750 on Red White and Blue Sevens nickel slot, $1300 on a $1 BIG TIMES PAY and $7800 on a $1 HUNDRED TIMES PAY.

Also for $1200 on a $1 TOBASCO and $1400 on another 5 line $1 Triple RED HOT 7's. All back in 2007. 2008 and 2009 were only singles hits.
