    Default China Shores

I sat next to an adorable Asian lady today at Spotlight 29. She was betting 30 cents on China Shores. She got 100 spins and retriggered another 100 in the bonus round. She is probably still sitting there as we speak. When I finished playing my machine, I wished her good luck. She was so sweet, she jumped up and hugged me.

    It was a good day.

Oh, Spotlight 29, I miss you! (DH still refers to it as "Century 21!")

Some people you play near can be so sweet! See, we didn't even need to hear if you won or not, Patricia, but you said it all: "It was a good day." You came out a winner, for sure!
May 16th is "Wear Purple for Peace Day"

The goal of Wear Purple for Peace Day is to make the world a peaceful place and, of course, encourage alien species to make contact with earth.

(Lots of alien days in this Holiday LIst that I use. Or maybe it's because I was so close to Roswell yesterday!)

I hope she hits big! I got like 230 spins and won $70.00. I was so exhausted after that.

A "hug" from a stranger is always good imo. China Shores can bring out the best in people, during the multiple-free spins. (witness so many times) I know when that happens to me…I seem to be in a better mood. Thanks for sharing Patricia!

Awesome story. I thought I was the only person that hugged strangers in the Casino.

Hi, glad you got a nice hug from a nice lady. China Shores is so fickle. My husband got over 100 spins on one at Pechanga and only got $14--what a shock. At Valley View I got 75 spins on one at 30 cents and won $130. I got another 24 spins betting .60 and won $75 on the same machine.

My husband works at a casino and recently saw a woman get more than a thousand free spins (it kept retriggering) on a machine that I think was China Shores. She was there for hours waiting for them to finish and left with $1300. Then right after she left, another woman sat down and the exact same thing happened with her! I tried China Shores for the first time on Sunday and I got a whopping 8 free spins.

Rachel, China Shores is fickle, and true enough, 8 spins usually doesn't pay much, but always remember, it only takes ONE GOOD HIT! Severaly times I've hit more than 100 spins on one of those Konami machines, and even tho I've never won more than $200 (on a minimum bet), it's still fun to watch all those spins, and not have to pay for them!

Oh yes, I agree! I'm sure I'll keep going back to it to try my luck, but I won't be bothered if I can't get many spins or much money out of it. I did get 67 free spins at once on a different game recently, and that was pretty exciting.
