Default $1 Ballys slot with Quick Hits Feature

    Hello,
What is the highest you've ever seen the progressive on the $1 Ballys w/ quick hits feature (where you get three quick hit symbols on, above, or below the payline). I've seen as high as $1,150 before, but never higher than that? Anway be interested to hear people on this. FYI, these machine has one payline with two credit max bet.

The dollar versions at the casinos around here are not progressives. However, they do have a lot of the $2 versions here that are progressive. I have never seen one get higher than $2200, they start at $2000 on this version. If I see one get up there I will play them, but at $4 per spin money goes quick and I haven't been lucky on them myself, only have been able to get the three qh's on the non progressive dollar versions for $1000.

I have only seen them between $1k - $2k range also. They hit pretty often. I see people hitting them all the time and of course I never do

I wonder how it depends by casino. The Mountaineer I have seen them over $1150 and all high and at the Rivers usually less than $1020 and all low. I do not know if perhaps each casino has the meter set differently or if they are more difficult. I won $400 the first time I played one and have lost ever since, but still playing $40-100 per trip.

We used to have the 2 coin version at my local casino (Grand Victoria in Elgin, IL) & they usually hit by $1050, but I have seen them as high as $1100. When I was at the Aria in July 2010, a person who worked told me that their 3 coin version was programmed to hit at ~$1035, and when the progressives where higher it meant somone was playing less than max bet. I played the 2 coin machine at my local casino with the $1100 progressive & hit it after putting in about $300. I was sad to see these machines go!
