Glad to know I'm not alone Ken! I've also misjudged the new "clearance" of my face and have hit the side of my head on things that my "safety" glasses would have saved me from!

Whole new world out there! Can't wait to see the Strip at night in October!!

Back from my check-up....20/20 left eye and right eye is almost there too!! So excited leaving the laser place with DH and just as I'm saying how great I can see I catch the edge of my flip flop on the sidewalk and almost do a complete faceplant!! Wouldn't that have been cute??

I've been thinking about you Wendy and wondering how you were making out - glad you got good results at the drs. It's great to see without glasses and/or contacts, isn't it? I'm so glad you decided to go ahead and have the procedure done. And yes, Vegas will look so much better to you!!! and you don't have to pack any eye paraphernalia either - LOL

Funny - I was thinking about you too, Lynda. When I went to the eye Dr I couldn't wear any eye makeup (which I knew you said was the worst part for you!). He had to put iodine drops in so I was quite the mess coming out. I looked at my husband and said "Aren't I cute without my glasses?" No eye makeup and it looked like I was crying mustard! Nice.......

Agreed that packing will be much easier

So just as a final update - I am SOOOO happy with my new eyes! Everything has settled down and my vision is amazing (both day and night which is awesome). If anyone is contemplating this but is a chicken like me, send me a pm if you want and I'll sell you on it. Now if only there was a time machine so I can have it done 10 years ago!!

Very glad to hear of your positive results. I'm several years removed from my surgery and still am extremely happy and grateful for having it done.
