H ya'll, I recently made my first trip to Coushatta, this was actually my first casino trip ever! I finally succumbed to my friends gentle pushes, shes been a regular at Coushatta for a few years and has "mentioned" her trips on numerous occasions. She showed me around and how to work the slots, we ate a great chipotle turkey sandwich and took it all in. This is definitely not the casinos from the movies, I was envisioning people in evening wear looking down their noses at the day trippers with their small bankrolls. It was a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere and we had a lovely day out, away from it all. Didnt win anything, but when all checked and balanced, I only actually spent $22 for a very fun day out.

Well as soon as we left the casino that day we have been trying to figure out when we can go again, and I have been lurking on this forum to help feed my excitement. We have pinned down a day the first week of April and will be there "with bells on", really looking forward to seeing you all there again!

Can anyone tell me a little about the video poker games at coushatta? What games do they have and do they have 1c/ quarter video poker machines?

Oh, and my friend managed to squeeze a trip in this week and she is upset that her favorite machines are gone, she liked "all that glitters" and we both had a good time playing that particular game on my trip....did they get moved or are they really gone?

Glad you had a good time on your last trip. We did remove the All That Glitters machines. Sorry about that... They were good games in their day but the popularity had fallen off so they were replaced. We have a lot of different kinds of video poker and offer progressives and decent cash back on the club card for video poker as well. We have all the popular games like Double Double Bonus Poker, Double Bonus, Jacks or Better, Double Aces & Faces, many various of Deuces, etc... Most of the video poker games are located in a section near the table games but we have them in other locations as well including the non-smoking section. Curreny the only $.01 video poker we have are the 50 Play and 100 Play games located near Lenny B's Bar.
