Has anyone stayed at the Plaza Hotel in Downtown??? Did you like it?? Mother and I are thinking of possibly going back to Vegas towards the end of the year. We are thinking of taking advantage of the living social deal, Emmas, put up yesterday. Emmas, thanks again for posting!! If anyone could kindly give some feedback, it would be greatly appreciated!!

I have not stayed there but I LOVED their casino when we played their in Oct. Joey and I liked their selection and we were able to play too, meaning the games were cooperating.

I have never stayed there, but reviews I have seen say the remodel to the rooms was a success!!

As Deb said...I've always loved how cooperative their machines are...lots of play for my money which is a win in my book

Here are pics of wickedcl's room from the Halloween Stumble on Oct 31, 2011. It was a very fun place although quite hot in there. Other than that it was great. Oh yeah, I'll be staying there next month so I will take lots of current pics for you Emily.

I didn't stay there, but did visit the casino and liked it. They have a nice bingo room on the 3rd floor. I got an offer for $169, which includes 3 nights hotel and admission to their super bingo game in April. Also included was $20 in slot play and a $10 food credit. I can't make it in April, but might try to go in July or October for their next super bingo package.

We didn't stay there last Sept. but I really liked their new casino. Seems like we played for about an hour on like 20.00 so the machines are good! Would love to take advantage of the deal now, but gotta pay Uncle Sam a big chunk.

Emily, I Ordered that living social deal. I have used GroupOon so many times with nothing but positive experiences. I assumed Living Social was same type of company - so I did a big no no, I didn't do my research on living social or the third party that's offering the *package* Exotic Escape vacations. Ugggg, please look in google and do a living social reviews....before you decide to book- I wish I had.

Now I wouldn't be overly nervous because if something happened I'm sure I could fight and get a refund from living social - people said it takes awhile. BUT a big but...it says taxes must be paid at time of booking, well you don't call the plaza for booking but Exotic Escapes....they take your credit information. They said any questions or issues call them back cause the plaza will not be able to answer. So I said ok, the in room massage-I want to book it. They said that will be handled at hotel when you check in. I was like huh, plaza does not have a spa...who is doing massage. They said third party coming in. I said who is third party....could not answer who it was but said you will get everything in a package when you check in.

They said I should get confirmation today for hotel. I have yet to get it, something is telling me this is a scam. I'm not telling you to you shouldn't get deal....I just wanted to share what I'm finding out.

Dangit, I bought it earlier this morning. I am going to look for more info on it too. I did notice we have 30 days to cancel. I appreciate the heads up NhMajik!!
