I just called the plaza to see if they had knowledge of this offer. The woman said they did and that Exotic Escape Vacations has an office there....hmmmm, might be some timeshare thing. Well for both of our sake, I hope this is on the up and up. I will let you know if I get hotel confirmation today. If you find out anything please share.

NhMajik, I found some message boards discussing the deal and will keep my eye out...otherwise can't find anything..I did see you on TA...Looks like the slot play may be spread out (not sure yet tho)

Thanks so much for the links Emily. I hope some people use this offer and report back, I will be so pissed if slot play is spread out in different casinos, or on promotional machines....if it is that is wrong. I read fine print and said nothing of that.

Ladies, I hope this work out for both of you. I too have purchased a lot of groupons and somehow got on living social's e-mail list which is how I got the information. I thought they were similar to groupon. Please let me know what happens.

I have stayed at the Plaza numerous times before the remodel and twice since, the last a couple weeks ago. It's much improved after the remodel. I would compare the main room to Harrahs but the bathroom to Imperial Palace. They did not redo the layout when the remodled so the bathroom is small, just the toilet and shower with the door barely clearing the toilet (in the room I just had the door also stuck a little, not closing tightly). The sink is outside in a little alcove. The room looks nice but they bought the furnature from the bankrupt fountain blue and it seems a little hodepodge, our clock radio was on the dresser by the tv and the lamp by the bed was like a livingroom lamp. The beds are nice and new and they now have safes in the room. They also have security checking keys by the elevator, nice touch. I think the wookout room is still free, not common in vegas. The casino is nice. All in all I think it's a decent place, it's not the golden Nugget or Paris but it's pretty decent and the beds are new.

Never stayed there. From what I have been able to read and gather from other Vegas forums, the new Plaza is worth a second look.

I plan to stop by and give it some coin in a few weeks for sure.
