In similar fashion, had disappointing spins on a Shindig clone and got so mad. What steams me about this game in the progressive version, is the fact only winning spins are good for the progressives, making 80%+ of my bets useless.

I'm sure it'll most always "randomly" select the lowest paying symbol. I had the same thing on buffalo.. wild wild buffalo.. it replicated hearts. These games are already suck city, why add a stupid rule to make it even worse? Oh yeah WMS.. "We're money suckers"

Actually I've had incredible luck with games with the replicating wilds. If you can get a replicating symbol of wilds, look out, usually leads to massive payouts. Check out the few on You-Tube.

I'd also thought it was the "best" symbol that got chosen to replicate. Then again, I've never gotten a line hit of wilds on these machines, let alone with the replicator...

Here's a hit I had last summer in New Orleans on which the wild was replicated. I put this on Player's Life yesterday, too.

According to pokerwayne's post, yes it is random. He got the information directly from WMS. I did not know myself and was also curious, because I, too, thought the highest value symbol would be replicated.
