Saw this today, it was the guy who hit the 5.7 million on the 25 cent Wheel of Fortune last Friday,

Interesting, the one with the job said to quit while he was ahead. If I owed ANY child support the last place I would be is a casino.

I was thinking the same thing, she was only making $600 per week, how can they afford rent and groceries, let alone a few hundred dollars to go to the casino?

Heh, what weird things people tell the news. At $60k in child support arrears... I'm surprised he wasn't arrested. After $700 in NYS, they come after you.

Let's hope he doesn't squander their good fortune and are broke in a couple of years! I was just reading an article on big lottery winners that spent all their winnings and were broke after some number of years. I wonder what he netted from the 5.7 million.

I can tell ya when I was paying child support the last place I would have been was a casino. This is not uncommon though. A few months ago we were leaving the local casino and saw a couple playing a 3 coin dollar slot and they hit $500, I commented that was a good hit. The lady said yeah but we're hoping to hit that (pointing at the progressive) then we can fix the holes in our floor.
