The status of ACS

Hi Folks:

I don't have anything against ACS (formerly AC COIN). However, they really turned me off by their "hostile" attitude toward me (and I imagine others) at their booth (at the 2011 G2E). If I ran ACS, I would want all the "word of mouth" I could get. Regardless of that, their games have been disappearing from my local casinos.

In fact, they seemed really late to come up with their own base playform (to replace the aging IGT base game). This doesn't seem like the game company that entertained me with SLOTTO, SLINGO and BEWITCHED.

Their website is really behind. The only job posting was for a new Financial Officer.

I'll leave it to you to form your own opinion.

I liked the different versions of Slingo that were out there. I have only recently seen them on cruise ships (no big surprise). I thought the bonus round frequency was better with Slingo then many other games. But, your right, I have not seen or heard of them. I am assuming you are referencing the G2E when you talk about their "booth"... Slotspert

Like most of their games ... it would be rare to win more than 100x in the bonus round. I liked SLINGO -- but they probably relied too much on it after a while. Some of the versions were not that different.

Once they started offering their licesnsed games for sale, I wondered if they would cannibalize themselves.

Revel has more ACS than any place I've seen yet.
Anyway, a total Hoover. A hundred through with not a bonus and not even one meaningful line hit. MOF, almost no line hits.
A very bad first impression. She will never try AC Coins games again.
Oh well.

I have no idea how this company is still a going concern. When you have so few slots -- is FREAK SHOW the franchise you want to bet the farm on?

Did this game use the old AC COIN payouts -- frequent hits of less than what you bet. Usually the BONUS ROUND is high frequency and pays lousy. Sounds like a different math model.

Thanks for posting. It's appropriate that an AC property buy lots of product from a AC-based slot company! I always wondered why there were not more ACS games in AC!
