This is one TR that made my heart beats faster. Derek, you described the twist & turns so well that it felt like watching a 3D movie ... so real, so honest and very well written. One of the best TRs!

Derek, ...Wow. That's one of those times that I don't realize I'm holding my breath until I finally hit something and exhale. Literally! I'm probably going to pass out one of these days! I, too, have trouble knowing when to walk and I have to play mind games with myself to get up and go - - probably kind of sad to know that I can trick myself, lol!!
....and I'm sitting here in my room at Cherokee about to head back down to the Casino. Didn't take long for my $100 in FP to pull a Houdini so I'm on my own $ now ....and it isn't much but I had some unexpected cash come in so why not bring a little of it to support our habits? Wish me luck!

Awesome trip report, I've definately been there done that. It was fun to feel like I was right by your side while you took the risks, LOL. So happy for you with the outcome.

I have been known to use BJ as my ATM too. Kinda crazy when we hit at BJ and constantly run back to the hoovers. But I guess that's what keeps it exciting!

    PS: Good luck, sandybeckers!

Thanks for sharing your report. We all have bad periods and good ones. The bad ones stink! I'm sure we will be there at the same time one of these days to say hello to each other.

Cherokee has no local competition and has always been tight slots for me and parents. I invest in airfare to Vegas. Never came home from there a loser, but never a winner in Cherokee... jmo

Harrah's...ugh. I know you said you won a lot on BJ there, but I heard their rules suck.

How do they compare to Pennsylvania's state-mandated rules? (3:2, S17, Double on any, double after split, resplit to 3 (except aces), late surrender)

I hope they at least give something equivalent to their high tier players...and with a bankroll like yours, I'm suprised you don't take up counting!
