I am but haven't had much luck at it! Probably because I won't spend much time before I give up! LOL

I'm usually the sucker who plays building up the bank before the vulture gets around to swooping it up.

I'm not a vulture...but I also consider vultures to be the ones who lurk in high limits, watch me losing my ass, then swoop in with their $20 and jump on the machine the second I get up and walk away...then they get a handpay.

Many times people can dig their grave inside someone else's doing this.
His name is Corneilous and he invented long division.
    Lines? Who needs lines?
Then those McNasty brothers started digging.

Konami and WMS have several "must hit" slot games which are usually indicated on the top-box clearly written "Must Hit By". I believe even Zeus III has this feature. Some casinos even have casino-wide promotions that some big jackpot will hit by the time a certain dollar level is reached (e.g. "Jumbo Jackpots").. In that case your player card being inserted is all it takes and then all the VULTURES come out since someone is guaranteed this jackpot... Just like knowing the basic rules for VP or "21", you need to read, at a minimum, the face of the machine and top box.

I am one as well. Have won several progressives on WMS that way. Also I now check Clue to see how close the game is to.being solved. If it is close enough, I will play. I have solved the mini progressive three times so far.
Mr. Woo is one of my favorites to play in Vegas! I guess I just like playing the machines with the extra progressives.

Im a half Vulture I will play machines that have a high progressives in hopes that they will hit, but i also dont really care because I have not hit many progressives that were nearing their max. Fun machines that pay me back get my attention.

I try but except for this one small time win, I haven't been able to get a progressive (not counting my few 5 QH's):

I'm going to get a handpay that doesn't involve a malfunctioning machine if it's the last thing I do. *LOL*

    Jusstice:
You are correct that CLUE is a game that should be mentioned as "vulture"-like... But it is MR WOO (Aristocrat Mfg. 2005-2008), in my experiance, that offers most chances to win the mini/major vulture jackpot. In fact, I plan to play this on Sunday (Hi "Bart") during my monthly San Manuel NA day-trip... They are the last place I know of that still has many .01, .02, and .05 cent versions of the machines. I say "many" because they are all stand-alone minor/major progressives which offers a great selection of progressives built-up at different levels... all that plus a 92% payback on penny slot at an NA casino!!!... I can't wait as this "vulture" is hungry
