Hey all! Okay so we went to Pechanga today for a lunch and focus group, courtesy of Ryan over at Pechanga. It was us, and two other ladies (one is now on our forum, and hopefully the other will join as well) and two guys from an outside company that is helping with this new idea Pechanga has. The two guys worked for the same company but one was from Australia and the other was from Portugal. Great guys and it was very nice to meet them. We had a very nice buffet lunch. Ryan gave us gift cards to use, and after we paid for our buffet using the card we still had enough to order take out at the cafe to bring home! Thank you Ryan and Pechanga!
I did not find out exactly what Pechanga was up to as they did not say but the questions they asked were basically about our gaming experience, what makes us choose the games we choose, when and where was our first gambling experience and win, how much was that win and why we like certain slots. They also were very interested in knowing how games "call" to us and what exactly that means!
Ryan said that he was thinking of posting this same survey on our forum so he can get even more information as well. He and Pechanga are well aware of our forum and the activities we do and I offered him the use of our forum for market research purposes. After all we are the BEST source regarding slot knowledge!
After lunch and the meeting, I texted my friend Michele. I met her on FB as she frequents the same local casinos. She lives a mile from Pechanga and when she saw Ryan's posts yesterday, she commented and we decided to meet up! How cool is that? She is very cool and LOVES keno. Do you know that she was playing 50 cent keno today and won $600? I have her pics too, she texted them to me. I will post those below with all the rest of my pics. I was so happy to finally get to meet her.
So on to our gambling…. Yesterday I had won on Facebook $20 free play to try the new IGT Reel Edge games. Now, you don't have to use that FP for that game but that was their intention. I did not use my FP for that game but we did play it and man was it BAD! I have two videos of the bonus on YT and my advice is not to play it. Really, really bad pays and unless there is something I am not seeing, I don't get how those games will be even the slightest successful. I get the idea but they don't deliver as far as I am concerned.
Dave and I purposely played Bonus Times machines in dollars and $2 dollars to see if we could win like D_A_N does…….. man is he lucky, we couldn't hit a thing! I have never ever in my life at any casino seen so many Bonus Times machines. They must have at the very least 100 of them if not more than that! They are in all different denoms, some with stand alone progressives, some without, and many of them are Quick Hit machines. Trust me, I will keep trying those games!
Dave played one of his favorites, Three Kings and got a bonus with a retrigger and I believe his bonus was about $80. I posted the video on Youtube. I played that Bally Cash Wave machine that I did well on last time and could't hit anything this time. We played our usual Aristocrat games. I really didn't hit anything worth while, Dave kept us going with his wins.
NOW……. I had only $20 left and decided to play Konami's Quest for Riches. I LOVE that game and have done well on it in the past. Well I decide to min bet since I have to milk this $20 for what it's worth….. I get the bonus and man did I get the bonus 160 spins!!! I was so excited! Guess what the end result was? $45.00!!! LOL oh well I did cash out with more than had in so that I guess is what counts. My phone was just about dead so I couldn't film any of it but I got a few pics in progress and the end result. Dave was playing quarter Triple Strike 9 line game and he hit for $100 so gave me a little bit more money.
So then we decided to take the $100 into HL. Dave decided to play $5 Triple Strike and hit for $90 so he cashed out since he had only spent about $20 and then decided to go play $2 Bonus Times. We hit NOTHING….boo. So that my friends is when we decided to call it a day! We then went over to the cafe and order two club sandwiches with coleslaw to go and drove home! We didn't hit any traffic on the way there or the way home either, that was wonderful. We had a great time, only spent $200 total and played for a good 6 hours.
