    Default Slot Machine...Glitch?

I just remembered something really really weird yesterday that I figured would be fun to post on here.

A couple years ago while I was at Borgata, I was playing a quarter machine, mechanical reel, and the machine spun without pressing the button. If I tapped my finger on the metal right NEXT to the button, I'd be able to spin.

    Weird eh?

Prob the button sensor was stuck and the slight movement caused it to spin. It could of gotten really irritating if it was stopping the reels too with the slight touch. Well unless of course you enjoy that than maybe it would be slot heaven. LOL

Not as weird as the GF machine I played at the Sands which spun all by itself (arms folded across my chest)... and would go to the bonus right after... over and over...
Slot Tech was intrigued with it! LOL

These glitches occur pretty often. Its amazing the machines don't "tilt" or stop functioning the momment these events happen. You would hope there would be some redundency in any type of malfunction. This weekend, for example, the Hangover machine we were playing was stuck on the betting key "HAVE FUN" and did not state what wager amount each button was associated with.

I had one once that would stop reels 2 and 4 by themselves like you tocuhed the screen to stop them. The rest of the reels would stop like normal. I called the slot tech over and she showed me smudges on the screen on those reels causing them to stop. He wiped the screen real good and it worked fine after. He siad someone with dirty hands must of been screen swiping. LOL

lol, that's funny. The Hangover machine down in Borgata last time I went had no chair...the guy was standing in front of it playing it. It looked so odd next to the other people sitting at the rest of the bank of machines.

We were at Parx a little while back and wanted to play Outback Jack side by side but the chair for 'my' machine was gone (obviously a disabled person had it before we arrived), so I just looked for a slot attendant and she got one of the guys with the screwdriver to move a chair to it. Easy (you could do it yourself but for needing a screwdriver to 'unlock' the port the base slides into.

Haha what about the chairs that go up and down for comfort? Sometimes you get the bad one that slowly starts getting lower as you hear the air squishing out it.

Heh, I've had that happen and had to change machines due to it (with the chair being secured to the machine).
