Just got back from a Wisconsin to Washington trip. To be brief, I gambled in a few different casinos on the way. The first was in South Dakota at a Dakota Sioux casino. I loved it. It was out in the middle of nowhere basically, surrounded by black cows with little white calves. I won on Buffalo--twice got 5 reels worth $90., then the bonus with 4 coins for $20. and a good win, ending up with $224. profit.
Next casino was Cadillac Jack's in Deadwood, SD. This place was great. I found a coupon in one of those giveaways at rest stops for a $49. room. The desk clerk had to take it in the back to see if it would be honored, it was and we had a very nice big room. Gambling there, not so good except for an Easter Island machine which I kept winning small amounts on. That night we ate at Mineral Gem (?) casino--excellent steak with parmesan and garlic and buffalo steak. That casino was much looser it seemed. Won 12 gongs on Big Ben for $83. and $150. on Delta Dawn, which financed my evening play.
In Washington there are casinos EVERYWHERE. First stop was Spokane, Kalispel N/A casino. This place was huge, but I had no luck. I found a coupon for buy one, get one free buffet and it was excellent--small shrimp/crab souffles, litte creme brulees, tiny chocolate eclairs. I had my first unpleasant experience in a casino here. There was a whole roll of Sun and Moon machines. I wanted to play Sun and Moon but every machine was full, including this one woman who was hogging two of them. I asked her how long she was planning to play and she was very nasty. I kept returning through the evening but she was still there. The other people playing Sun and Moon thought she was being a hog too and that I should go tell an attendant but . . . I saw one man had one cent left on his machine so planned to play his machine once he quit--but then he hit 50 free games. That was funny and good luck to him!
Also stopped at Clearwater casino on the way to Port Townsend, Washington from Seattle. Oh, my sister was angry at me! I had texted her that I had just gotten off the ferry to Bainbridge, Island, so she calculated my arrival and was waiting with plans for lunch. I of course, lost all track of time, happily gambling away. When I got out to the car I found seven texts on my phone and the last one had finally figured it out, "R u at a casino?"
