    Default We're BACCCCCCCCCCCCCK

We just came back from a road trip visiting......Four Winds, Firekeepers, and Soaring Eagle..........

We went to Four Winds this time last year and I have to report this year was nothing different.......
I hit on River Wild and Glacier Wild for around $80.00 (I only put in $5)
My husband won $120 on Spinning Steak (reel rich devil)
(My husband also played poker and BJ but that is irrelevant here I guess)
I put $20 in hearts of Venice and cashed out for $90.
All and all Four Winds was nice............the Timberlane Cafe has some AWESOME sandwiches......but no biggie wins..........we were up and down for 2 days. We more or less walked out of there leaving what we allowed for that casino.

    Firekeepers
First we were there on a Saturday night: Unfriggen believable.............so damn crowded yet there were plenty of slots available. The casino itself was nice but RV parking was filled (with cars ) so we had to go to an overflow parking lot that wasn't even paved! Then instead of sending a shuttle they sent a security guy in a GOLF CART. It was drizzling and the freaking seats were wet........so we went into the casino with wet asses! The slots were virgin TIGHT! I saw no big wins and we lost our bankroll in about an hour! I tried plenty of slots..........Noah's Ark, Star Trek, Sopranos, Pony Express....to name a few...........I did put in $10 in I Dream of Jeanie (magic carpet ride one) and hit the bonus for $80. My husband won $120 on Hog Wild but most of the time this casino HOOVERED our bankroll. We decided to move on to Soaring Eagle the next day. (Cafe 27 had some half decent sandwiches.)

Soaring Eagle........well well......what used to be my favorite casino........hmmmmmmm.........First of all it was our anniversary and I forgot to pack our marriage licsence for our premium play promotion.........even though our players card both CONGRATULATED us on our anniversary, that wasn't proof enough for the promotions booth. (Like $23 dollars in free play would have broke the bank! They told us that if we could get someone to fax them proof they would give us the play.......yea, like someone was HOME TO DO THAT......DUHHHHHHH ) We had no free play because we haven't been there since last August.

A winner every 11 min? Maybe.......... but I didn't hear any announcements or really hear alot of noise that sounded like jackpots were being hit! I did win a few times on Grizzly Wild and River Wild for around $80. I did manage to put ONLY $5 in Russian Treasures and cashed out with $50. I put in $10 in Bombay and cashed out for $50............Silk Kimono I won $60.........it was hit and miss most of the 3 days we were there! My biggest win was Black Knight for $165.(put in $20) Heart of Antony I won $90 after putting in $10.
I also used a $3 tito in Lineman and won $120 on the third spin! (my HAIL MARY SPIN LOL)

Virtual BJ and reg BJ...........ate alot of the DH's bankroll on all 3 days we were there yet he recouped some by some hits on Reel em In($70) and Money Storm ($60).....he also hit on Black Knight ($90) DH played in a poker tournament but didn't make it to the final table.

The small bingo hall/casino reeked of smoke (and I am a smoker!) Slots there were even tighter! I plyed vitural BJ with the hubby because it was only a buck a hand there and it was terrible! It looked like that machine had not been wiped off in years! It was scheevy.......greasy,ashes,sticky..disgusting! The Little Eagle Cafe has some good chicken wings!

ALL AND ALL...........NO BIG wins, just piddly ass here and there wins to keep us playing. Spinning streak was a BIG HOOVER ALL 3 DAYS! The biggest win on that was $65.

The buffet really needs some work.....was not up to par but the Prime Rib Sandwich cart had some good prime rib sandwiches!!! This was the first time I have to say that there were plenty of waitresses........haven't seen that before. One thing I did notice at SE...........even though I kept my eye out for Earnest C............and hoped that maybe I would run into Ole Slot Guy.............didn't see either but I did see PLENTY of bad perms!(and some strangeeeeeeee people)

Get this.......we get home today ..........in the mail I got a "WE WANT YOU BACK" card from SE..............for a free room and DH had $14.00 in free play!

@ the wet asses going into the casino. I have come to the conclusion that its just tough to win at any casino these days, they have adjusted for the down turn in the economy and the lack of money flow they enjoyed before, yes theres still plenty slot players coming but I have read a couple different places in the media that they are not wagering as much as players use to, so we have adjusted as well, which makes visits to the casinos result in lots less wins then we use to enjoy. That is why I dont even care if I travel to a casino, I can loose right here close to home just as easy It always nice to get away though!

Great report! Thanks for filling us in on all 3 casinos. I am curious too about what denom of Winning Streak you were playing. I loved that game and haven't seen it around in a long, long time. I miss it.

Sounds like you had a great time!

I read more & more about "Soaring Eagle" here than the entire city of Las Vegas.

Regardless of the wins or losses the casino must be a pretty nice place.

The SE is a nice place, except the paybacks STINK.

Hi chooky, come on back on Fri. and the oleslotguy will be there. It's a Happy B-day. Not where you would find Ernest though.
We want you back...yeh they're good at that. Took 3 18yr. olds awhile back. Come home and have a mailing for bringing in new slot members. $10 for them, and $20 for me.
The buffet IS getting tired. Same ole, same ole. Really like the sandwhiches myself, with onions/mushrooms..yummy.
Just never go over to the lil one anymore, and doesn't sound like we want to.

All in all, were you up, down money wise at SE?
Used to do a lot of those 1-4 week trips all over the US. Fun,fun thing to do.

We were playing 1 cent spinning streak with between a 25 cent wager, 50 cent wager and even 75 cent wagers, you know mixing 'em up yet couldn't win shyt!

We did have a good time but when we left SE we were not up that's for sure! We just payed to play kind of thing........still it was fun but it would have been nice to come home with SOMETHING other than a few extra pounds!

I have to say that no matter where we go we KNOW we aren't there to break the bank ..........just have some fun and get away! It still was worth the trip!

Oh, you'll prolly do well up in the HL area. Be leaving in an hour or so for the SE. B-day for me. DW just has to get the "face" on, and we'll be outta here.
