Oh wow...a 6-reel, 4-high ways machine with 20x multipliers? Depending on the paytables Wicked Winnings and Great Eagle Returns might have to give up their "absurdly high payout potential" trophies. It's probably like Reel Boost where only 6s pay much of anything.


WMS has been on a roll lately: Knight's Keep, Van Helsing, Power Spins, Clue, Bier Haus, Alexander the Great and Epic Monopoly have all been fun.

from the video it shows 6 of kind highest symbol pays 500 credits with min bet... $5x 4096? awesome.. but can it happen? no.. but there is possibility of course just like reel boost..
if its like colossal reels pay back it will be suck... we will see.. im open to innovations...

Okay, I'm confused; I think the video isn't quite accurate. At :39 it shows 200 credit play, bet multiplier 5, with 6 lady symbols paying 2000 per way. At :51 it shows 40-credit play, bet multiplier 1, but 6 lady symbols are paying 500 per way-1/4 as much for 1/5 the bet.. One of these isn't accurate. Going with the 500 per way (that makes more sense I think) though...$5x4096x20=$409,690....at minimum bet. I suspect it isn't actually possible to get full screens of ladies and a multiplier at the same time....but still. Wow. If there's 5 full reels and then a 20x-which may be conceivable, if extraordinarily unlikely- it'd be $5x1024X20=$102,400 which is still completely ridiculous.

So yeah, volatility anyone?

After several successes with Golden Apple I'm definitely on board for another WMS ways machine. We'll see how this one pans out.

i think not all reels has a stack wild and we couldn't get the highest pay in all 4096 combinations..

At the Player`s Life gathering, we had the opportunity to meet the designer of Collosal Reels. According to him, the game with the 5x multiplier in the bonus (like Van Helsig) can pay absurdly huge! I have never sat down to figure it out, but those kinds of hits must be extremely rare!
